The best thing about these shorts is the huge variety of colors they come in (although RRS carries just a few). They are great for everyday runs. But for me and other women I know, running more than about 8 miles causes chafing on the inner thighs. I can wear a S or M and find that the chafing is less with the M, but still, if I am running over 10 miles I opt for another short.

I love these shorts! These are the most comfortable and flattering running shorts I have had in a long time. My teen daughters love them too. I am a sm to x-sm and thin. They do not bunch or ride.

These are a very strange-fitting running short. I am tall, slender and a reliable size medium. The leg edges of this short bound around my thighs, a problem I've never before had. I returned them to RRS the day that I got them in the mail.

I read a review that stated that these shorts bunch up in the front but everyone else seemed to love them so I decided to try them. For my body type, they also bunch up/ride up in the front while running. Maybe they work better if you have hips and a smaller waist or you have stick thin legs. They are cute, wish they fit.

I have 3 pairs and i'm eyeing the fog/hot coral to add to my mini-collection! i will confess, if you are a distance runner and especially in HOT/humid weather they can chafe after awhile, however, I haven't found a pair of running shorts that won't. Bodyglide or even some deoderant on the inside thigh will fix that. They are modest, fit great, and are super cute. I also suggest the similar styles by RRS, I've got two pairs of those that do great too!

I agree with another reviewer in that these shorts ride up. A lower rise, less material to bunch in the front, and better fitting liner/panty would make these shorts better.

Love them! I own 2 pairs of these shorts. They are a great fit...I am a size 2-4 and I bought an XS, and they are just right. I usually like my clothes a little tighter fitting, and these are perfect. They stay dry and do not ride up.

Don't know why everyone loves these shorts. They ride up, and they don't look that great either. Okay, but not great. These are the only shorts I've ever had that might cause chafing if I did a long run in them. Maybe I got a size too big.

Wouldn't mind a slightly softer fabric, but overall great - not at all baggy/blousy/sloppy - even better/more flattering fit than I anticipated from all the rave reviews; I will probably be banning my huge baggy schlumpy pair (different make/style) to the treadmill and use these outside/when the gym is crowded for vanity's sake, hah, I don't deny it!

These shorts ROCK! Own several pairs and LOVE all the NEW bright colors! They are modest, stylish, great fit, attached underwear does not ride up, no chaffing, keeps sweat at bay... so many positives! It's no wonder they are the best selling women's running shorts! : )

i got these shorts in dark navy/blue moon. the dark navy looks a little more black than navy, but the shorts are still very cute. i just ran in them today and i really did feel like these shorts wicked away my sweat. they're also very comfortable and are just the right length. i love them. i'm thinking about getting them in black/white/pink flame, too.

These are great running shorts!! I have 4 pairs of them now. They are long enough for those who are modest, yet streamline enough for the less modest. They don't ride up, don't chafe, and look great. I will definitely get more of these!!

For years I have only worn Nike Tempo shorts for running. The style has changed a bit, but the fit remains great. I probably have bought 8-10 pairs over the years. They are light, don't ride up, and stay cool. I have used them for half-marathons without any problem. They last forever, too. A great addition to your running wardrobe!!!

After training for and running a marathon with several pair these, I don't think I will ever wear them for much more than a 5 mile run again. I had major chafing issues!!! They are such fun and comfy shorts, but not meant for me running long distances. I'll stick to the compression shorts from now on!

These are awesome shorts- I am going to try to buy my size in every color. I'm dissapointed that my size only has a few colors to choose from, but this short is so comfortable! It has the built in underliner, the legs sit high enough that they don't bind, and there is room in the pouch to store a gel. The downside is that there is little leg coverage, so if you are self conscious, get a different style. I have two pairs so far that I alternate running in- and they make me feel very stylish when I am out on the road.

The best Running shorts ever! I own 3 pairs so far and will be adding to my collection! So light, no chaffing, flattering, very comfortable for short, half or full marathons! Inside pocket could be bigger to fit ID but other than that highly recomend these shorts!

Great running short! I have a big butt and large thighs, but they fit me perfectly with no riding up. The liner is made out of silky material, probably the best of any of the shorts I own. The key pocket is a bit of a tight fit if you want to put an ID in it.

These are great shorts, but the side seams make my legs look weird. I've been going crazy trying to find my favorite, the original tempo track shorts with the thin-thick-thin side seam. They just fit me better.

Only complaint is it's a tight fit to put an ID in the inner pocket - an inhaler definitely doesn't fit. Wish there was a pocket in the back instead. These are soft, comfy, cool, and don't ride up.

I have 4 pairs of these shorts and I've run various distances from 3 miles to a half-marathon in them. They are very comfortable-no chafing or riding up. My only complaint is that they look a little "round" on my body. I'm not lacking in the rear-end department and these shorts are baggy on my bum and hips and appear to "taper" to the leg openings. But, if your practicality outweighs your vanity, these are probably the best running shorts you'll find.

I love how they look and own 3 pairs, but they ride up terribly on me. Also, when I get the size that fits my waist/hips, it is too small in the legs. When I go up a size to fit my legs, it is too baggy overall. Also, I found the sizing to be inconsistent when I tried different pairs at my local store. I wish RR carried more colors.
