These are simply great running shorts. I find the 2" inseam to be the most comfortable for me. the splits could be a little higher, and the fronts could be sculpted in just a bit more to be further off your thigh, but these are overall about the best everyday shorts on the market. And as they are described, these are "fundamental" shorts for serious workouts. Sure, there are lighter shorts available for racing use. And maybe some people really like running in those baggy shorts that go down to your knees. Not me, and if you're reading this, probably not you either.

These are my favorite running shorts. I wish they carried them in more colors. Unlike the RRS Pro Velocity 3 Split short, these Nike shorts fit true to size.

I use these for running, and they are so light you don't even notice them! They dry super fast as well!

Like this short because of short inseam, which seems rare in these days of knee length shorts. Allows for greater freedom of movement. Shorts are comfortable (no chafing), wicks away sweat, and dries reasonably quickly. Have only washed a few times in washer but seems to hold up ok so far. Would like to see some other colors available.

I was looking for shorter running shorts as they are difficult to find in my area. I have tried the Nike Tempo shorts which I like but I was looking for a split leg short. I tried the Nike Fundamental 2" and liked them so well I ordered two additional pair. The length is perfect. The liner is very comfortable and I like the key pocket which is open top and located inside the rear waistband. It is easy to get to and I have never lost a key. I use these for both training and racing. I am serious about running and have tried a lot of shorts. This is one of the best shorts I have found and these are my main shorts for any run that I do long or short. I could not think of any cons. Would just like to see more colors.

Got the shorts a couple of weeks ago and they have become one of my favorite pairs. I am 5'10" and 155 lb and the mediums fit me perfectly.

Good pair of shorter shorts, which I prefer. Comfortable and draws moisture away. Dries reasonably well.

I bought these shorts to try a shorter length. When you put them on, they are incredibly comfortable. I tend to get chafe with these shorts, unfortunately, but I think it may be my physique that causes this. Nevertheless, they allow great freedom of movement.

I use this product in my runs each week. It is a FANTASTIC short. The mesh vents in the 2" split are fantastic and designed extremely well.

This short is not only comfortable but extremely lightweight. I would (and very well may) purchase this short again.

small was much too small for a long legged 6 foot runner. 155 lbs.

Great shorts. The key pocket is in the back and is hard to reach. Similar shorts by Roadrunner have a little zipper pocket in the back that works real well.
