Men's Nike 7" Phenom 2-in-1 Short

These were a gift for my running son-in-law. These are his favorite running shorts and the day he got them he immediately put them on and went for a run. According to him, perfect length, comfortable while running, no binding and loves the dri fit material.

Run & work out in gym. Bike-short length liner great. Warms up hamstrings, adds modesty for gym workouts. Unfortunately, colors online and in RR catalog are all wrong. I bought a color I already have, & now they're out of stock in my size.

I have two pair of the 7" Phenom. I am 6'1" and 180 lbs. Normally wear a 32 waist in pants. I ordered the medium and they fit very well. The inner compression short is thin, so good in summer weather. Perhaps not quite as supportive in the thigh as I would like because of the thin material. However, the crotch area is vented and hold things together very well - no bouncing around down there. The compression serves another purpose in that the shorts stay in place better than regular running shorts in rain or heavy sweat conditions. There is a zippered back pocket on the right cheek that is about 3" wide and 4" deep. First run was a 9 mile trail run that was very hilly and that convinced me the purchase was legit. Have had no hot spots, seam abrasions or other discomforts. There are a few small pieces of reflective tape - not sure how a driver would pick up on them so would rate as of little use.

They feel great but I wish they were cheaper.

I was not expecting the "inner compression shorts" that are almost as long as the legs of the shorts when
I ordered these. They were so comfortable even in the heat of Arizona that I have purchased a second pair. The first pair has the pocket in the back and the 2nd pair is in the side. I did not like the feel when I tried carrying my flip phone in the side pocket but otherwise I'm sold on the "2 in 1's".
