Comments about Mens Montrail Rogue Racer Trail Running Shoe: Just finished 13 miles on single track in the rogue racers. Very light. Overall I was pleased. They feel more comfortable on the trails than they did at home. Firm insole. Just what I wanted. Traction was good except for some wet rock, but everyone slipped there. Rock plate helped, but my feet felt a little beat up towards the end. I'm a big runners though (200 lbs). Don't think I would run longer than a half in these. I didn't roll an ankle which is a big plus for me. I'll wear these for my trail half next month.

Comments about Mens Montrail Rogue Racer Trail Running Shoe: I use these on hard-pack roads around where I live. They are marketed as trail shoes, but stones the size of dice can easily be felt through the sole. They stay new looking for a good long time. Two draw backs: 1. they are so pliable that the shoe puckers between the laces, looks weird but they are very comfortable 2. They seem to go flat fairly quick, I need a new pair and I think I've only got about 300 miles on them.

Comments about Mens Montrail Rogue Racer Trail Running Shoe: Very comfortable, cushioned, and lightweight. Multiple trail runs up to 16 miles. Handled creek crossings well and dries on the fly. Might consider a shoe with a bigger rock plate for rocky trails. I like the wide toe box, but that suits my foot.

Comments about Mens Montrail Rogue Racer Trail Running Shoe: I've been running a lot of mountain trails in my Brooks Launch and was pretty satisfied. When I went to buy a new pair of Launch it seemed they increased the cushioning. Either that or my old pairs were REALLY crushed down. Since I've enjoyed the old Launch I asked for something that would give me the same ride as my broken down shoes but in a trail shoe. I'm no exactly a minimalist but that seems to be the way my body wants to go; ratty flexible neutral shoes with no socks. Anyway, one of the pair was the Rogue Racer and it seemed to be what I wad looked for. Mini lugs and that minimal feel.

Comments about Mens Montrail Rogue Racer Trail Running Shoe: I use these as my trail racing shoe anywhere from 1-13+ miles and am usually at the front of the pack. I am tall and skinny so I needed every bit of the 12.5 length, 12's are too small, but found the shoe to be very wide and have to pull the tops of the shoes almost all the way together to get a snug fit. Other than that no complaints and is what I was looking for, a lightweight trail racing shoe.

Comments about Mens Montrail Rogue Racer Trail Running Shoe: Great shoe fits well light and dries quickly. I expected less cushioning and I wish the toe box was wider but I like a wife shoe. It's still a great shoe I have ran several 12-15 milers on various types or trails. Shoe is best on dry single track. Its low responsive and no pain when you hit the unexpected sharp rock.

Comments about Mens Montrail Rogue Racer Trail Running Shoe: I think this is a great balance of less-shoe, feel for the ground, and protection. I can feel rocks and terrain underfoot (which I like) though nothing comes through sharp or painful. This shoe feels much more natural and flexible than the MT100's I was using. It's also light weight, and has a soft roomy toe-box. I boarder size 12 & 12.5 in running shoes & went w/12.5's in these. I've done 50 miles on single track and really dig em so far. The small lugs work surprisingly well even in slop. The insole is more substantial than you'll find in most Montrails however – which happens to lend to its comfortable fit. Insole materials tend to break down relatively quick, so it will be interesting to see how long the heel area stays snug. Cool shoe. I bought a second pair.
