Comments about Womens Montrail Rogue Racer Trail Running Shoe: These shoes are perfect. I am a new trail runner and run on pretty rugged/technical trails. After running in heavier trail shoes, sought something lighter so I could be more nimble on the rocks, roots, and stumps. Was VERY wary of minimalist-like shoes (had bad foot bone bruise for 18 mos once; fall/trip often on the trails) but these were perfect. Trained for and raced a 16M trail run (I know, short for you ultra folks) in them and all held up fine. I don't tire as easily in them, they float over obstacles, and dry pretty quickly. I am still wearing them, not sure how fast they'll wear out (seem sturdy but am not sure). Have also done short road runs on them (after running trails with pup, who tires in the heat, I do some road miles). BTW, I say "true to fit" because I got a 1/2 size larger than my street shoe, but aren't we supposed to do that for every/any running shoe? Enjoy!

Comments about Womens Montrail Rogue Racer Trail Running Shoe: These are some of the best trail shoes that I have ever had. I have always loved Montrails and the Rogue Racer has yet to let me down. The shoe is low profile and grippy on the trail. You get an almost minimilast feel while still maintaining the support and traction of a trail shoe. Trained for and competed in a trail half-marathon with these with great comfort. For my WIDE foot, the meshy upper gave enough that I could comfortably fit my flintstone feet. The downside: as a minimalist racing shoe, it has a short lifespan. I'm not sure if I would use these for a trail race longer than a half, the lack of cushioning could be tough on a rocky mountainous course.

Comments about Womens Montrail Rogue Racer Trail Running Shoe: I use these shoes for running/hiking primarily on trails but also on pavement. I am pretty small--4"11, 96lbs. I bought a half size larger than my street shoe size (as is usually recommended with running shoes) and got a perfect fit. I have been wearing them 2-3 days a week for 6-8 months. My runs have ranged from 3 miles to 1/2 marathons.
