I used my bright pink Nathan hydration belt for the first time this morning and was very happy with my choice, love the color. I normally run 3-4 miles but have been training for a half marathon, so today I ran 8.5 miles and felt for the first time like I was prepared to do so.

I'm 5'11" 175 lbs, usually wear a size 11-12 pant and I ordered the 32"-36" belt and planned to wear it around my hips. I actually could have gone a size smaller and if I wanted to wear it around my waist it would be too big. It took several miles to get used to it just because I'm not used to carrying anything but it wasn't bothersome enough to not wear it. Obviously the more I drank the lighter it was :)

The pocket held my blackberry, car key and a GU. I wouldn't have been able to fit my Ipod in there too but I wear that on my arm so no big deal. Removing and replacing the water bottles was easy, however they and the pocket are not adjustable. The belt itself is very high quality and it fits like a glove but that makes the sizing that much more important. I'm glad I bought it, it was a reasonable price and I would recommend it to anyone.

This product is amazing. So easy to use. THe bottles go in an out of the holsters with such ease. And the belt sits perfectly on my hips, i dont have to worry about it riding up or moving around.

I have been hesitant to buy a fuel belt of any kind because I thought they were too bulky. This belt proved me wrong. I used it for the first time on a 13 miler and hardly noticed that it was there. I found that it was more comfortable when worn at the natural waist versus low on the hips. The flasks did leak at first but tighten the tops seemed to solve the problem. The pocket has a lot of room for gels, keys and an ID. I am very happy with this product.

Works best when bottles aren't topped off too much. The full weight makes them bounce initialy on a run, but isn't a problem for long.

I had previously used the Fuel-belt 4 bottle model but found it too heavy with all bottles filled. While this model only has 2 bottles, they are 10 oz each so still holds quite a bit of liquid. This one seems like a winner!

Fantastic to have enough water, or other mix, on the go during my longer runs, 10+. I hardly know it's there and have no problem with retrieval or return while running. I also like the stash pocket in the back and can even grab a gel pack without any problem. [...]

As my running training has increased in distance I reluctantly bought a belt to carry water and gu. Very light weight and wasn't as cumbersome as I feared. Pouch is small but large enough to carry 4 or more packets of gu for marathons. Water bottles are easy in and out and don't leak! Key hook is helpful. 2 compartments in pocket if you need that (I don't). Found the belt most comfortable with water bottles in back. Easy access even in this position. Only trouble is that I wear compression tights and find that the belt slips up a little on those slippery tights. Periodic push back down is necessary--not a major set back though. After reading reviews I found everyone spoke the truth. Really not a bad choice forthe price either. Will stick with this belt until it wears out and may try another as an experiment as I learn more about my needs as a distance runner. Not a bad choice so far for those marathons. Taking it to my race on Saturday.

I bought this belt for long training runs, and it's been excellent. It holds 4-5 energy gels and my keys and/or phone, in addition to 20 ounces of liquid.

I'm a small female (5'4", 116), and the small belt fits snugly around my hips. It's neither bulky nor uncomfortable.

My only complaint is that my family members make fun of the way it looks, but that's really not the belt's fault, is it?

This belt is great! I bought it so I could have a little water on my long runs, but I find myself wearing it on every run now. I use it not only for the water feature, but the pouch is great for holding my cell phone (HTC ERIS) that I use as my GPS and MP3 player. I also hold my ID card in there.

You feel the belt for the first few minutes of the run and then it sets in and you no longer feel its there.

I have not performed any speed workouts with it, so I cannot speak to how it functions during fast intervals, but I keep a meek sub 7 min mile pace on my runs and I do not feel its there.

I was looking for a hydration system to use while I train for a hlf marathon. This one works well. It rides low on the hips so your arms don't bang into the bottles during stride. It is light weight and I don't feel it. The front pocket is perfect for taking along Goo or power bars or even a phone. My only wish is that I should have bought one with more bottle capacity.

I use the Nathan Speed 2 Energy Belt when I racewalk for any distance of 5km or longer. Proper hydration is essential when exercising and the Speed 2 Energy Belt conveniently carries 20 ounces of water or your favorite energy / performance drink.

The Speed 2 Energy Belt is easy to use. The velcro fastener works great and allows you to customize the fit to give a comfortable 'ride' during your workout. The 2 bottles fit snugly in their holders but are easy to get out & back in while keeping up a good pace.

Doesn't move around on my hips when I run. Doesn't slosh water on my heels. Such an improvement over my last water belt. And I wear a size 10 women's clothing and the medium belt fits just fine.

The bottles are easy to get in and out of the holders and the quality of construction appears solid. I barely notice the weight on my hips. Great for long runs.

I've been hesitant to try a water belt in the past as I was worried that it would bounce around a lot and be uncomfortable while running. However, once it sets in I don't notice it at all! Can bounce a little bit on faster runs, but still not troublesome.

This water belt has worked great. I wasn't sure about the velcro at first, but I have never had the belt fall off or a bottle fall out. The pocket is useful. It has a main compartment and a small divider. The divider makes it great to have a tiny space to keep an ID or cash dry, and I use the main space to fit my cell phone, power-gel and mp3 player. The belt does bounce around a decent amount, but after a while it settles in and stops bouncing as much. It also bounces more at higher speeds, but since I use it on my 10-12 mile long runs I don't go fast enough for it to bother me.

I love this belt! It doesn't bounce and just fits against me so perfectly. The only time I ever really notice it is when I'm exhausted at the end of a long run. I don't think I will ever do a half marathon without this again.

When I started running longer distances where water was not available, I knew I needed to start carrying my own. After reading all the reviews, I settled on this product. It works great. I also took some advice of several readers and ordered one size smaller than I thought I needed. BAD ADVICE. I ended up returning it and getting a medium, which fit perfectly. The belt fits snugly and rests comfortably on my hips. I don't even notice it's there. The pouch is big enough to hold keys or a small phone. It holds enough water for a 7-10 mile run, which works out perfectly for me. Highly recommended!

This has been really helpful on long, hot runs, but it definitely leaks. I don't know how it compares to other brands, but I'm planning on trying something else. The velcro has also worn a spot on my shirts after long runs.

Was very worried belt would bother me and would be all I could focus on for long runs; pleasantly surprised. Belt does not bounce, fits very snugly around the waist. You can wear on the hips (which I would prefer) but it tends to slide back up to the waist. Water bottles are easy to use and grab from the back. I had to get used to the sloshing sound from the bottles but very minor complaint. Love having water available for long runs.
