Comments about Nathan Elite 1 Plus Hydration: I won't run without it. Mine is over 3 years old and looks brand new after 35+ miles a week. Very comfortable and zipper pouch carrys my cell phone and three Gu packets. Pros

Comments about Nathan Elite 1 Plus Hydration: I use this product to run. The things that are great about it are that it has a great little pouch for my power gel. However, I wish the little pouch could be bigger to put my cell phone in while I run.

Comments about Nathan Elite 1 Plus Hydration: Training for a marathon for the first time I knew I'd need something to keep water and energy boosts handy without getting in the way. This product does a great job of that. I haven't used the gel bottle yet, but when I'm not using it, the holder makes a great place to put my ipod so I can listen to music. Lots of options for strapping something on or stuffing into a pocket. It needs a bit of adjusting to minimise the movement (must be quite snug), but I didn't experience any discomfort or chafing while using it. It's really well made and I'm confident it will go the distance with me.

Comments about Nathan Elite 1 Plus Hydration: I use this for my longer training runs (1 hour or more). The pack rides well just above my hips - doesn't move around or bind. Even when fully loaded with H2O and carb fluids, I barely notice it's there. Both bottles are held securely, but are easy to remove and replace even at a steady run.

Comments about Nathan Elite 1 Plus Hydration: I was going back and forth b/t this Nathan product and the 4 bottle Nathan product b/c it has the secure holders. I decided to go with this product b/c it holds more water and I had a bad experience with the Nike 4 bottle belt. I was worried that this would be heavy on my back, but I barely feel it. The belt is secure and can be worn on bare skin if you're running with only a sports bra. I put gatorade in the small bottle. It's so easy to retrieve these bottles and put them back. It also has a pocket that fits my cell phone and an extra Gu. I highly recommend you fill the bottle with ice and fill the rest with water. Cool water doesn't stay cold enough for long runs in higher temps.

Comments about Nathan Elite 1 Plus Hydration: I use this for my >8 mile runs. It is great becuase I can stach my phone and a small engergy bar in the pocket. I love the smaller bottle for gatorade or other engergy beverage. Works great and it is comfortable. It doesn't bounce around, which is a bonus and the caps clean out easily, since the orange tips pull out. The angled bottle makes access easy. Pros

Comments about Nathan Elite 1 Plus Hydration: I have used the previous model of this Nathan Fuel Belt and it was outstanding. However, this year's model they made the pouch to small and my Droid X2 doesn't fit. I like running with my Droid cause I use Endomondo to track my runs and the security of having my phone on my longer runs. I like the two bottle system since I carry water in the large bottle and Gatorade2 in the small bottle. Sorry, looks like I have to return this and try and fix up my old belt.

Comments about Nathan Elite 1 Plus Hydration: Slightly bigger than I thought. Tends to ride up.

Comments about Nathan Elite 1 Plus Hydration: Perfect hydration pack for longer runs (10-15 miles). You really have to cinch it down to avoid it bouncing around (which it can do when the bottle is full), but once you have it tightened, it stays put.

Comments about Nathan Elite 1 Plus Hydration: I use this hydration belt when I go on my 1+ hour runs. The straps have to be quite snug to prevent the bottles from bouncing up and down and it takes some getting used to getting the right adjustment. But once you figure it out, you won't have any complaints. Of course as with most other hydration belts, if you're overweight and don't have a flat stomach, the tightness of the straps might be a little uncomfortable.

Comments about Nathan Elite 1 Plus Hydration: Love the 5oz. bottle. I can concentrate my electrolyte powder and still carry plenty of water. The belt is comfortable and doesn't bounce when I run.

Comments about Nathan Elite 1 Plus Hydration: This is a good hydration pack for long distance running. It is cinches around the waist well and is comfortable on the hips. There is slight chaffing in the lower back, if wearing thin clothing. Water bottle is easy to access due to the tilt of the pocket. Like the zip pocket for gels. The zip strings are good to hold gloves. Would buy it again for a friend.
Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Nathan Elite 1 Plus Hydration: The storage compartment could be slightly bigger to stuff a phone or other gels/energy stuff inside. The easier to grab bottle is really nifty though!

Comments about Nathan Elite 1 Plus Hydration: Great product for longer runs. The belt has a little stretch to it, which make it very comfortable to wear. I use the bigger bottle for water and the smaller bottle for sports drink to sip on mid-run. Love it. Pros

Comments about Nathan Elite 1 Plus Hydration: New runner training for first marathon. This product works well and serves my need on the longer runs. I run in the dark and would suggest a strap on the back to clip a light. Pros

Comments about Nathan Elite 1 Plus Hydration: I live in Arizona and I was looking for a hydration pack that would not be bulky on long runs and lightweight. I don't like to carry weight when I run. This product is fantastic. Once I put it on at the start my runs, I really don't know that it is on me. I like that it is very light weight and I get a substantial amount of water in the bottle. I also like the fact that there is a smaller bottle that I either put more water in or my recovery juice. Love it, love it, did I say, love it.
