        Nathan changed the flask size downward recently and I wanted larger, tighter fitting bottles in my belt. The Race Cap Flasks are now only 8 oz. I got the larger bottles and switched the caps. The threads are the same. Bottles fit more tightly now in the belt. Harder to lose accidentally.

          My bottles from a Nathan water belt I bought two years ago were getting old, and so I bought these. I kept my fingers crossed knowing sometimes buying something that doesn't say replacement may not actually work.

          I was happy to discover these bottles fit perfectly into the holders of my existing belt. I also liked the push pull cap which my original bottles didn't have.

          I've had a seamless transition using these new bottles.

            I use the bottles with hydration mixes that tend to be sticky. These bottles don't leak. Other bottles drip and cause aggravating sticky hands.
