Comments about Womens Newton Running Momentum Trail Running Shoe: I am on my 3rd pair now. These are the best shoe for me. I run trails, road, and treadmill. I run about 35 miles a week in all conditions. I suffer from a neuroma and Newton's are the only shoe I can wear and not be in pain. The only con is they wear out fast...maybe get 300 miles out of these and that is pushing it. I make sure to have a back up pair on hand. I also have the Gravity's, but I like the Momentum much more. Also, traction could be a bit better. I am going to get Yak Traks for winter. The traction is not enough for ice, snow, etc.. Also, as others have reported, size up a half size, if not a whole size. I wear a 6.5 or 7 in everything else, but I am in a 7.5 in the Momentum. FYI..not all newton's run the same in size.

Comments about Womens Newton Running Momentum Trail Running Shoe: I bought these for mixed road conditions (I generally road run, but I live in a rural area and frequently run on the side of the road), and I sometimes trail run. I am also a forefoot/midfoot runner, training for a marathon, and need more support than most minimalist shoes give. I did not want to sacrifice weight and potential change in form for cushioning. This is the PERFECT shoe for me. I'm seriously tempted to order at least one other pair now, despite the cost. I take an 8.5 in my running shoes, and the fit was the same w/ these. I'm glad I did not go up a full size.

Comments about Womens Newton Running Momentum Trail Running Shoe: These shoes work great for my trail runs through mud, rocks and loose dirt and, who doesn't smile when they look at them? It's hard to take yourself too seriously wearing shoes as crazy fun looking as these.

Comments about Womens Newton Running Momentum Trail Running Shoe: Excellent line of Newton's. Most of the Newtons are not great in inclement weather such as rain & snow. The Terra is fantastic.

Comments about Womens Newton Running Momentum Trail Running Shoe: I love these shoes! I was never sore from running with the Newtons. I wore them right out of the box and have run 4miles up to 20 mile trail runs and they are so comfortable. The colors are super fun. I have a high arch and a mid-fore foot strike. I like that the toe box is pretty wide too. I wear a size 7 in dress shoes but order a 8 in running shoes. I mostly run on trails but they are good on the road too.

Comments about Womens Newton Running Momentum Trail Running Shoe: Met the Newton Rep at the Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta and heared the lowdown on this shoe. I couldn't leave without them and I am soooo glad that I didn't. No break-in period and I have run everyday in these shoes. My other shoes are starting to geet jealous. I definitly need a second pair.

Comments about Womens Newton Running Momentum Trail Running Shoe: I ordered these shoes because Lady Isaacs slip when the ground is wet. These were the perfect solution. [...] My Lady Isaacs are an 8.5. I definitely needed the Momentums in a 9. Not all Newton's are sized the same.

Comments about Womens Newton Running Momentum Trail Running Shoe: I run on small trails through the woods in the ozarks, and some on gravel, and rarely on pavement. When I run in these shoes, I don't have as many problems with shin splints or knee pain, but on anything except dry pavement, they aren't very stable. I have rolled my ankles repeatedly in these shoes, and rarely had this problem in my old Brooks Cascadias on the same trails. They also do not grip nearly as well. I like them otherwise, and they are very comfortable, but I may return them since I don't do very much road running and they perform poorly on trails.

Comments about Womens Newton Running Momentum Trail Running Shoe: I purchased these shoes 2 months after having had surgery to remove a Morton's Neuroma from my right forefoot. I LOVE them! They accommodate my orthotics and the forefoot cushioning is right where I need it. They give me the confidence I need to roll off my forefoot. That said, I am breaking them in slowly, because as a minimalist shoe, with a lower heel-to-toe drop, and having the lugs under the forefoot, your calves and achilles get more of a workout. Folks who have a mid-foot strike as opposed to a heel strike will find the adjustment to the Newton easier. I can't comment on durability yet! Order up a half size; I wear a 5.5 street shoe and am very comfortable in a 6. The colors are great and the shoe grabs LOTS of attention, so don't buy them if you don't want to entertain questions! Will definitely buy again!

Comments about Womens Newton Running Momentum Trail Running Shoe: Never wore Newtons's before this pair and I love them! Great on the trails. I plan on running a 50 mile race in them. I pretty much started running in them right out of the box. I run on the road with them too. Great shoe!

Comments about Womens Newton Running Momentum Trail Running Shoe: I decided to try these Newtons because I needed a shoe I could wear more comfortably in the winter weather. They're light, and fit very similar to my other Newtons, but any distance over 6 miles causes horrible hot spots. I've tried all different socks, loosening them, tightening them to no avail. I put my old pair of Newtons on last week because I needed to run 12 ~ no problem with them. I would not recommend nor buy this particular model again.

Comments about Womens Newton Running Momentum Trail Running Shoe: I've been an Asics user for years, but I started having problems with my Achilles and calves. From what I could tell, I was over-striding. So, I looked to make a change. That is when I tried the Newtons. So far, so good! My calf strength is coming back, my stride is more relaxed, and I'm actually liking running again. Note: It does take a while to get used to the Newtons. They rock you back, and you feel like you are running very upright. It feels weird at first. This takes some getting used to, but well worth it. I'm a very happy runner with my Newtons. Will buy them again when mine wear out.

Comments about Womens Newton Running Momentum Trail Running Shoe: I run 6-12 miles a day, primarily trails, but occasionally road/trail mix. These are hands down the best trail shoe I have ever owned. I run alot of hills, and these have a natural curve to the sole so you can run downhill without slapping. They felt a little weird when I first ran in them, but I did my full distance and was used to them by the end. Now my other shoes feel weird! The only problem I have had is the forefoot insole started leaking (air I guess), and sounds like when an air mattress is leaking air in the water. New pair is on the way. I run on trails with dirt, gravel, rocks, sticker bushes, etc. Probably just a fluke because I am VERY hard on shoes!

Comments about Womens Newton Running Momentum Trail Running Shoe: I run around 25 miles a week and had worn ASICS for the past 7 years. To be perfectly honest I broke #1 rule buying these shoes...I bought them for their look! OK, they were my stability type, but still I totally took a chance. THEY ARE TERRIFIC, so light and fast. I had several PR with them and usually can't wait for my next run. The only reason why I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because the toe box feels a bit narrower than what I was used too in the Asics. I'm a 7.5 in running shoes (7 in life) and I should have ordered an 8..oh well, here is my excuse to order an other pair!

Comments about Womens Newton Running Momentum Trail Running Shoe: I bought these because I had read that Newtons shorten your stride and thats what i needed to get my ITBS better. The shoes did exactly that. I can't run in anything else or my knees will ache for days after. They truly run a full size too small.

Comments about Womens Newton Running Momentum Trail Running Shoe: It took 1 mile and I was hooked. I've been off and on my running game for a couple of months, so as a treat for my feet I devided to buy a new pair of shoes. And instead of going for my usual New Balance I read all the reviews and specs for Newtons and took the plunge. I LOVE MY NEWTONS. I run mountain roads, lots of hills in all sorts of weather and these shoes perform great. Great traction, great fit and comfortable. It is now again, a pleasure to tie on the shoes early in the morning even after being on my feet a full 14 hours the day before, and going for a run. I'm back on my game. What a pleasure...in fact, I'm going to buy another pair soon.

Comments about Womens Newton Running Momentum Trail Running Shoe: I LOVE these shoes..I have been an Asics girl for many years. I saw a Newton Tent in Atlanta during the running of the Peach Tree Road Race in July. I bought a pair and have logged more than 250 miles in them!! I love these shoes!

Comments about Womens Newton Running Momentum Trail Running Shoe: Use this shoe training for the Nashville marathon. I've never worn a shoe so light weight and feels so strong and rugged. I really like the roll as I run and stability if the terrain is uneven.
