      Did not think there was enough arch support. Put dr. Scholes pro arch support inserts in them. Now they are the best shoes I have ever run in. My new favorite shoe!

      Love these shoes. Helped to alleviate the gift recipient's plantar fasciatis. She said her feet truly are better. Have to gradually work up to the style, but it's worth the effort. Each style of Newton's is a little different, so need to re-adapt if change styles. Still worth it! Love them!

        I tried Newton "Distance" before,in which My shins hurt and ended up exchanging to "Motion".
        I love the Motion! Very light, comfortable and fast! I ran my first race ever(8miles);and not only I finished, I did very well.
        The Newton web site is very helpful in choosing the right shoe. I recommend going there first before you buy them from RRS, since these shoes are so differnt from regular running shoes. They do help you run effieciently.
