Comments about Mens Newton Running Sir Isaac Running Shoe: This is my 3rd pair of Newtons in a year and I love them. For over 30 years I have been an Asics runner, but have had issues with my arch and heel for over a year. Once I got my Newtons, all my injuries went away. It takes a few short runs until you become used to the feel of the Newtons, but once you do, you won't go back to another shoe. So stoked to be able to do mileage again. My only issue is that the heel wears very quickly and they are pricey.

Comments about Mens Newton Running Sir Isaac Running Shoe: Now on my 4th pair of Sir Isaacs. Started running in 2010 and first pair of shoes were the Brooks Beast. Ran a half marathon and had severe knee pain. My sister is a podiatrist and recommended Newtons to me. Have run one more half marathon and one full in Newtons and train about 20-25 miles a week in all outside running. Not one issue since switching to Newtons. Will be 50 later this year and being injury free is rare for my age group.

Comments about Mens Newton Running Sir Isaac Running Shoe: I love the high quality and looks of this shoe. It's my first pair of Newtons and I'm glad I finally pulled the trigger and bought them. I started to mid-foot strike about 2 years ago and purchased these to help keep me from falling back into the heel-striker runner. The lugs in the front really do keep you honest about landing on your mid-to-forefoot. The only thing I don't like is that the shoe didn't accommodate my orthotics like New Balance Brooks and Saucony. So I did send it back and sized up another half size. It works for me now and I'm happy with the fit. I run with these about 25 miles per week on roads, treadmills and easy trails and they're working good after one month.

Comments about Mens Newton Running Sir Isaac Running Shoe: I have been running my whole life and worn many running shoes. as a result, I suffer from runner's knee until I started using the Newtons. The shoe forces me to run properly and aleviates my knee pain. In fact, my knee pain is all but gone and i have only been running in the Newtons for the past few weeks. I am sticking with these.

Comments about Mens Newton Running Sir Isaac Running Shoe: Thje Isaacs are my training shoes. Run between 18-20 miles weekly as a 70.3 triathlete. They are not as light as my Distance (my event shoes!) but they are a great shoe to train on. Nice cushion on the fore foot! If you are new to Newton tech, it might take you a few miles to get used to them and the unique design. Great shoe in general! Before Newtons, i ran other brand and develop runners knee, ankle issue and NASTY shin splints... Once I adopted the newtons and their new running technique... All the issues went away! Get a pair and try them... You got 90 days to give'em back if you can't get the hang of them!

Comments about Mens Newton Running Sir Isaac Running Shoe: This is my 4th pair of Newtons. I feel this is my best pair yet. I needed more support for longer runs than my Distance S . I thought they would be to heavy. But they are not.

Comments about Mens Newton Running Sir Isaac Running Shoe: This is great training shoe. Its especially good for anyone looking to try to move to more natural running mechanics (i.e. more of a natural barefoot type foot strike). It has a similar heel to toe drop as a minimal shoe, but it retains a lot more cushion in the midsole. This makes it a great transition shoe for those interested in moving to a more minimal shoe or barefoot running.

Comments about Mens Newton Running Sir Isaac Running Shoe: Prior to purchasing the Newton Sir Isaac, I was wearing a new version of another brand's top of the line cushioned neutral shoe recommended to me because of my size (over 250 lbs) and my experience as a new runner (only started running in 2011). I didn't have a problem with their previous version but this one gave me a blister because of a new stitching pattern inside the shoe by the heel. At the time I had 5 more weeks of training before I would run my first marathon, the 2012 Chicago Marathon. I knew I needed a pair of shoes that I had to get used to in time for the race. I had been working on my running form all summer moving to a more midfoot strike from a heel strike. My training coach told me that she swears by Newtons, so I gave it shot. I typically wear a 2E width but RRS didn't have the wide version, so I ended up getting a .5 size larger.

Comments about Mens Newton Running Sir Isaac Running Shoe: My physical therapist suggested I try a pair of Newtons to aid in my recovery of a nagging achillies injury…they seem to have done the trick! I've run in Brooks for the last 15 years (not leaving them yet), but do really like the Newtons and the added "aid" they provide to support a minimalist running style.

Comments about Mens Newton Running Sir Isaac Running Shoe: Knee pain recently after 30 yrs of pain free running. Could not go much beyond 4 miles without pain and stiffness. Tried Pose Method and Chi Method. Sketcher Go-Run very uncomfortable and no cushion. Still had knee problems. Tried this Newton and found a much better shoe for mid/forefoot type gait. Ran 3 miles first time in shoe and no pain during or after! Has really good cushioning in forefoot. Would not be a shoe for traditional heal strike gait.
