Comments about Mens Newton Running Gravity Running Shoe: Before these I wore the Brooks ASR line for several years and I was looking into a dedicated road shoe that was somewhat minimal and lightweight but still had some cushioning. I was already a fore foot runner but it took around the fifth run to finally get used to these, bu man when I got used to it, it was awesome! My favorite road shoe of all time. I swith between this and the Brooks Pure Cadence but I tend to lean more towards these most of the time.

Comments about Mens Newton Running Gravity Running Shoe: I am a huge fan of Newton running shoes and I am currently training for another marathon and decided to give the Gravity a try and so glad I did. Normally I wear the Newton Distance, but over the course of a run and into the upper miles, they tend to hurt my feet more. These shoes held up to the distance and my feet were not nearly as bad. Very comfortable shoe. A must for anyone wanting to take their running serious.

Comments about Mens Newton Running Gravity Running Shoe: It takes a few miles to get used to the shoe. the shoe is made to land mid-front and if you're not used to it, your muscles will ache. this shoe will train you to run properly. i'm on my first pair of gravity's and I love the brand now. But just be aware that you do have to get used to the fit. And you will be sore from them but after that they are amazing.

Comments about Mens Newton Running Gravity Running Shoe: I run the streets and dry trail in these shoes. This version of Newton is not for wet trail running.

Comments about Mens Newton Running Gravity Running Shoe: The Gravity is my second pair of Newtons. Currently, I'm just breaking in the shoes, but they feel nice and responsive. Very cool shoe. Thank you, Road Runner. As usual, great service.

Comments about Mens Newton Running Gravity Running Shoe: Mid-stiker here who has tried other shoes (both Newton and non-Newtons) and this shoe far and away works best for me. I couldn't imagine a better run.

Comments about Mens Newton Running Gravity Running Shoe: I have been running in Newtons for five years. Countless triathlons and a couple of marathons. I love the lightness and comfort. They fit true to size, a half size smaller than my Asics. I am over 200 lbs and with Newton Gravity, forefoot running, my natural stride, I do not suffer any pain from impact. No knee, hip or back troubles. TAKE YOUR TIME and ease into this style of running. The only drawback that I am hoping they have solved now with the newer models was the inconsistent finishing. I would have seams that weren't finished or insoles that peeled apart, each of which led to blisters on longer distances.

Comments about Mens Newton Running Gravity Running Shoe: They suggest you buy a 1/2 size bigger. I love these because they promote mid striking instead of heel striking. I was a New Balance wearer before and loved those, but these are better. Better for your feet and running form.

Comments about Mens Newton Running Gravity Running Shoe: I'm training for another marathon. I put in a lot of miles every week in all sorts of weather. These are my go-to shoe for pavement, sidewalks and those really nicely groomed urban trails.

Comments about Mens Newton Running Gravity Running Shoe: This is my second pair of Newton's and they are by far the most efficient shoes I have ever owned. Outstanding comfort (after a brief "getting use to" period with the gunnels on the forefoot) and speed. Newton really has something special with these shoes. I have run a handful of marathons, including Boston, and have been through a cadre of different shoe types and brands over the years, and this is the best I have owned by far. Great for interval workouts, tempo runs and long runs. Buy them and you won't be disappointed.

Comments about Mens Newton Running Gravity Running Shoe: Historically, I've been prone to over-pronation, and I've run in Asics Kayanos, and more recently, Mizuno Inspires. I liked both shoes, but had seemingly chronic knee pain while using these shoes.

Comments about Mens Newton Running Gravity Running Shoe: Having tried a myriad of brands, can honestly say these shoes are far above the rest. I run an average of 50 mi/week, average 7 mins per mile. The lugs take some getting used to, but as I mature as a runner, I am much more of a mid-foot striker as opposed to the heel striker. These shoes promote this. I am now a believer. Average min/mile time has continually dropped. Highly recommended for those serious about improving their running.

Comments about Mens Newton Running Gravity Running Shoe: I bought my first pair of Newton Gravity a year ago. I'm on my 5th pair now, and absolutely love the shoe. It is fast, comfortable and I've logged over 1500 miles without injury. This is the best shoe money can buy.

Comments about Mens Newton Running Gravity Running Shoe: My fifth year exclusively running in Newtons and the new model of Gravity does not disappoint. I am 6' and 200 pounds and have not had any injuries since starting in Newtons. This shoe is comfortable from the start and the ride is smooth and has a barefoot feel without compromising safety. Strongly recommend.
