Love Newtons and have been running in them for years. New model of motion seem to have lugs placed more foward toward toes. Tried smaller size but still presented as a problem. Friend had same issue with new shoe. Will continue to run in Newtons but for now will change model.

I have been looking for a pair of shoes for years that give good arch support as well as a good cushion upon impact for the balls of my feet as I have pins in my big toes due to a previously sustained injury.

The lugs on these shoes take awhile to get use to but once you do they are truly amazing and provide the best cushion money can buy.

These are my fourth pair and I love them. But need to by a half to full size larger.

I love these shoes. I am a mid foot striker with a slight pronation. A friend recommended these and although they are expensive I thought they would be worth a try. The info that came in the box suggested starting out with short runs. I have run 3 3 milers, and one 5 miler in these so far and I love them. I normally wear Asics but my Asics now feel like bricks after wearing these Only issue I had was the cushioning is a bit lacking. I added a RRS cushion insole and now they are perfect. The sizing info on this shoe suggests to size up 1/2 size but I found that I needed a full size up from my street shoe size for proper fit. If these turn out to be as good for long runs as they are for short, these may be the only shoe I will wear in the future

I am training for my 7th half marathon after having taken time off due to an illness. I thought it would be a good time to try these since I'm starting out with low mileage again. I am giddy over running in these shoes! They are perfect for me! I'm a natural forefoot runner but this is my first pair of Newtons. I recommend easing into them with special concentration on keeping your calves and Achilles stretched. I did go up a half size in them and they're just perfect.
