      This was my first pair of Newtons, and I loved them when I first put them on. The position that your foot is put in makes you want to run! Sadly however, I must return them. No matter how I tie them my heel slips and I end up with a blister. Also, the bottom of the heel shows wear after a few short runs.

        I love these Newtons!!! I have worn Asics Gel DS-trainers for years and I am now a Newton convert. I am a petite woman, mid 40s with average arches and I run about 50 miles per week. These Newton are so lightweight, breathable, fast and comfy...I chose them almost every time over the Asics (although I love those too). I always size 1/2 to 1 whole size up and it is the same with the Newtons. They are a bit pricey but worth it for me to stay injury free and enjoy running.

              I bought these with the hope to barefoot run. I loved the fun color. But had to return them. The stripes on the top were rubbing the top of my feet. After a few runs i knew they were not going to work for me.

              I LOVE Newton Shoes and these shoes are awesome! I have run in Newtons now for 5 years and haven't had a single injury since. I love that these are light weight and the heel is smaller than the others... not so chunky for all the long running I do. They do wear out quickly but that is also because I run 40-50 miles a week.
