i use the Kismets for sprint workouts and have been very pleased. The shoes support my cuboid tendinitis. The Kismets feel extremely lite on my feet. Can't say anything negative about these shoes.

The shoe has a comfortable fit, although it has a larger fit than brooks. Have ran 42 miles in these shoes and they are great. the PODS provide great support and transition to mid-foot strike for a more natural run. highly recommended for mid-foot strike runners and natural runners.

This are my fourth pair of Newtons, and comparing to the Distance S you will feel the softly landing of your feet after the 10 mile, and your body will be thankful for that. The Distance S is kind of hard on the forward move.
If you are a Newton user and run half and marathons distance I strongly recommend this pair.

I've always worn Asics for running, I have found that the amount of support and cushion just works for me. I run with this shoe on the treadmill and outdoors and am comfortable the whole run either way.

Great shoe but you will need sometime to adjust to a Newton if this is your first Newton purchase. Suggest at least three to four weeks. I would alternative between the new shoe and your old shoes until you have adjusted . This is a very different ride.

My first pair of Newtons. I got these free for helping out with a race. My first run in them was 3 miles, and then I went out and did an 11 miler. Not bad for straight out of the box. They're a great introduction to Newton shoes (I've since tried last year's model of both the Gravity and the Distance and I find that I like these the best). I'm aware of the Pop2 lugs, but not in a bad way - it just feels slightly different than any other shoe. Compared to the Distance, this feels much more like a traditional shoe. But you can still feel some of the "pop."

The lugs do seem to be wearing quicker than I would expect, but that may be due to the softer material being used in the Pop2.

The ground transition on these is great - smooth like butter, and I find myself just floating along the ground. I can't explain why exactly, but according to my GPS, my cadence picks up a few steps per minute wearing these shoes compared to other brands, including lighter/racier shoes.

The heel cup is grooved horizontally which I was worried about, and covered with a piece of duct tape, but I'm also very prone to heel blisters. No problems in the 50+ miles I've worn these shoes.

My only other concern is that if you wear white socks be prepared for your socks to be dyed a neon green/yellow after sweaty runs. Again, a very minor complaint, but it did surprise me when I pulled my shoes off after a hot 10 miler.

These have become my distance shoe (runs up to 18 miles so far), and I'm using the Gravity for many of my other runs. The Kismet feels better when the miles tick over to double digits.

These are listed as a stability shoe, but really they're Neutral (apparently the Fate is the main stability shoe in this year's lineup).

Great shoe, and I'll likely be buying another pair.
