    I've been using this product for roughly 1 year. I notice a huge difference in how my muscles feel after a long run (10-22 miles)compared to pure carb drinks. I virtually never have muscle soreness the day after a long run. (My friends don't say that.) The new formulation has no artificial colors, so they don't look as appealing but I appreciate one less chemical.

    If you aren't going to use this type of high quality, well designed product to return exactly the right carbs, amino acids, proteins and electrolytes, just use chocolate milk. It works pretty well too.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
