Comments about Mens On Cloudsurfer 2 Running Shoe: Used for both road and trail running; the cushion devises are excellent and almost springy. Might be a bit tight around the ankle when new.

Comments about Mens On Cloudsurfer 2 Running Shoe: Over the past few years I have mostly been running in Kayanos and really love that shoe. About a year and a half ago I learned about the Cloudrunner 2 and purchased it, and shortly thereafter it became my go to running shoe. The On-running website recommends the Cloudrunner for > 8 min miles (as opposed to recs based on arch height) and as my miles have been more in the 7:20-7:30 range, I decided to try the Cloudsurfer 2, since On recommends these for faster times. Though I was worried I'd be losing the support and pronation control that I was getting from Kayanos and the Cloudrunner, I can honestly say that I don't notice any difference at all re: support in the Cloudsurfer. This is a lighter shoe than the Cloudrunner and does seem to come off the ground a little faster. My times are definitely faster in this shoe compared to the Kayano and my legs seem to have a little more left in the tank as well. Could all be in my head, but I now swear by On's when it comes to hitting the road. If you're strictly a heel striker you'll need either the Cloudrunner or something other than On's altogether but if you're a midfoot striker, these are awesome. These are not great on trails, as the traction is pretty poor and I've read reports of pebbles getting caught either in or in-between the clouds, though I haven't experienced this myself. Highly recommend.

Comments about Mens On Cloudsurfer 2 Running Shoe: I have tried just about every brand on the market and these are by far the best trainers I have ever worn for longer distances. Remember I did say trainer, not racer. I was loyal to Kinvaras and Pure Flows, but was looking for just a bit more cushion due to plantar fasciitis. These are like running on clouds, seriously! I can't wait to try the racers.

Comments about Mens On Cloudsurfer 2 Running Shoe: My first Cloudsurfers where bought after running a 1/2 Marathon in another brand shoe, my first run in them was the most comfortable my feet have felt in years, but more importantly I noticed that the sore knees I get after every run where no longer sore. I have 400km in my Cloudsufer so bought the Cloudsufer 2 to have the alternate pair, the 2 have around 100km up and there is no difference from shoe to shoe. Awesome shoes love them.
