I just ran my first marathon and can't tell you how much I relied on these recovery bars to get me through the 9 months of prior training. They're amazing! Recovering from long runs is never easy, but these bars kept me feeling good and ready for my next run.

I agree with the other 5 star ratings. I just purchased the Peanut Butter/Caramel flavor and had one following a 4 miler. They taste really good and my legs felt less tired the next day. I'm going to buy the Cookies and Cream/Caramel flavor too!

I always eat one after a run. My favorite is the cookies and cream. I've noticed that if I eat one of these within 30 minutes after my run for stage 3 and a power bar endurance at stage 1 I have much less muscle fatigue and very little (if any) muscle pain the following day. Make sure you are buying these with C2 MAX carb blend on the label for more sustained energy to your muscles.
