Comments about Mens PUMA Complete Vectana Running Shoe:

I've got just over 200 miles on these right now. I've been experimenting with different types of shoes. I'm 6'1" and 225 pounds and wear a size 15 and run about 30 miles per week. I had been running in the Kayano forever, but didn't like the heavy weight of the shoes anymore. Switched to the Nike Zoom Vomero and loved them, but the outside heel area wore out around 250 miles, so I'm sure I need stability shoes, especially a shoe with a durable sole. The Vectanas are relatively lightweight, and so far the sole is very durable for me. These accommodate my custom orthotics well, but I have noticed that they feel a half size too small. I also notice the cushioning isn't as good as something like the Kayano, but that is par for the course: Vectanas are strictly stability shoes--with a little cushioning. These are great for me for shorter runs, but when I run more than 7 miles, I start to feel it. I'll probably go w/something like the Kayano, but lighter weight (maybe the Asics 3020 or the new Nike Lunareclipse). These are great stability shoes, though for people who don't need the extra cush.

Very nice shoes, perfect amount of cushion and very light. I use them for indoor training and they are very responsive and have good support for running on treadmill. Bottom line good support and sturdy!

Comments about Mens PUMA Complete Vectana Running Shoe:

I've been running in mostly Hurricanes and NB 769's lately, and wanted to try something new. I wish that I didn't now. These are the first shoes to give me blisters in probably twenty years. They give me shin splints, and the fit just doesn't seem right. They aren't too big, or small, but just don't feel right. Stick with something proven like Asics, NB, Saucony, etc. Boo.

Comments about Mens PUMA Complete Vectana Running Shoe:

I usually run with Asics 2140 shoes but bought these on recommendation from the running shop. They are stable because they have a wider forefoot area, which is fine for running on a treadmill or roads but has drawbacks of you run on uneven country tracks. Also they are quite a different shape to the Asics, which would be fine if your foot shape fits them (wider feet), sadly I find my feet are too narrow and tend to slide around inside the shoe. Well worth a try if your feet are the right shape for them.

Comments about Mens PUMA Complete Vectana Running Shoe:

I just got these shoes and was blown away with the fit. I always run in the 2140's and these shoes fit as good, or better! I bought them because they look cool, but they are a very legit training shoe. I am impressed!

Shoe feels fast and responsive. Wore them for about 100 miles thus far and really enjoy them. Getting lacing perfect is a bit tough, but worth it once you get them right.
