I wish I could return these pants. They do not work well for running. They do not have a tight fit. The waist band is drawcord waist so it easily slips down while you are working out or running. I am 5' 10" and 152 pounds, 40 inch hips. I bought a large. They are fine for lounging around but not for

Most comfortable and flattering workout pants I own. I wear them more to the gym than for running, but they are great for that too. I am 5'6" with long legs. If you are shorter, they would probably be too long for you.
