I was right on the cusp of sizing and didn't think I wanted it flapping around so I purchased a short size. Had to return. Velcro closure keeps it from flapping so purchase size up if you are borderline.

I bought the Knee Pro Tec and the IT Band. I was able to walk after my run without ice or ibuprofen. The IT band slipped a little which was annoying. However, I may not have had it on tight enough so I will wait for my next run to review and rate the IT Band. In any case, I'm really happy with the Knee Pro Tec. It stayed in place and I'm not aching! I ordered the small and thought I got the child version. It seemed sooo small. However, when I put it on and pulled it securely, it did fit properly. For your size reverance, I'm 5'5", 115 lbs.

I am 68 years young, but thought this might be the end of my walking career. The bands are terrific. In two days I have seen a lot of difference. I think you should make them a size larger though for those who need a little more. They cannot exercise if they hurt badly.

I got this out of "panic"--my knee was bothering me. I got this and it's hard to find out exactly where to put it (I think my knees are the problem). But, the only thing worth saying is that I got a medium (I'm 5'4" female, 120 lbs) and I don't think it could be any smaller--the Velcro barely wraps around. So measure before buying!

I followed instruction on how to zies this and it was WAAAAAAY too small. I measured just below my knee cap at 12.5 inches and ordered a medium. The length of the whole brace just barely fit around my knee...let alone having any strap to tighten. Based on teh size of this one - I probablty would need an XL!!Wonder if the one I got was just defective.

Because I am taking several measures for knee pain at the same time, I can't say for sure that it works. But I am running longer and harder without enough pain to interfere with my races and workouts. Since I plan on continuing using supplements, heat, ice, massage, etc, it's unlikely that i'll ever be sure if the device works by itself, but since the pain did lessen soon after I started using it, I am assuming it helps. It is no trouble using it. Comfortable and simple and quick to put on. The big test will come when I start upping my long runs later in the season.

This has been a godsend for fib head pain. I occasionally have pretty severe fib head pain when I increase my weekly running miles to train for a longer event, especially marathon. My tight calf muscles push the fib head forward. This used to be so debilitating on long runs that I'd have to call home for a ride. This baby is the next best thing to bringing along my PT. I put it on fairly tightly just under my kneecap and it keeps me on the road, pain-free.

I bought this after some chronic knee soreness from running that began to affect my sleep habits. After purchase and use, my soreness is greatly reduced. I don't find it noticeable now but for the first few runs I was aware of it around my knee. It definitely does not replace the value of good stretching and quad strength training.

Though I was skeptical I thought it was worth a try considering I wasn't able to complete my runs anymore due to pain.
I found it very comfortable and easy to use. I approached the thirty minute mark of my run and I was waiting for the pain in my knee. It never came. Finished my hour run and I'm ecstatic! No pain!

This little band has saved my knees while training for a marathon. It has worked better than physical therapy and kept me going through 19 miles. I bought a second one for the other knee because it is so effective.

I started running marathons again 10 years ago after years of country club sports, and I developed chronic knee pain. After months of taking way too many pain killers, I tried the Pro-Tech Knee Straps. My doc also said take 6 months off. I have patellar tendonitis as well, and have had a chronic ache for the last 2 weeks. No relief from most anti-inflamatory meds, but I experienced significant relief the minute I put it on. It applies the right amount of pressure to just the right spot.

I started with a slight knee pain, after visiting the orthopedic doctor, it turned out I had tendinitis. I was so upset because the doctor said I had to stop running for at least 6 months. I started doing my own research and came across the knee band. This is the best thing that's helped me recover from the tendinitis. Great product and very comfortable to use! I highly recommend it.

The pro-tech knee wrap provided very good support for my right knee that has tendonitis. Completed 3-7 mile runs with it on and never had any problems, it stayed in place and was easy to use. While wearing it during my runs I had much less pain in my knee, very good product.

I love these! I wouldn't run without them.

I've suffered from knee problems in the past, but these knee supports keep me running! I haven't had a knee injury since I started using them. They have to fit snug. I had to order a new pair in size small. After a few years of running, my legs are skinnier than they were, and the mediums weren't tight enough any more. But that's a good thing! :)
