I have bad knees. This band helped to aliviate some of the pressue on my knee and let me run for longer w/out pain. However, the band slips once I start sweating and doesn't stay in place.

I've had IT band issues when running the last 2 marathons, so I thought I would give this a try. I am extremely impressed and surprised how well it worked. Just ran my last marathon 2 days ago and it did a great job keeping the pain away. I didn't put it on during the marathon until after the pain started and it instantly fixed the problem. One issue i had was it slipped a bit from the sweat, but that was after about 9-10 miles. I readjusted twice and was good to go.

i bought this wrap after experiencing it band pain so severe i had trouble walking....it worked great, i was able to train for and run my first marathon while wearing the strap - qualify for boston! after the race i went out for a run w/o it by accident & had no problems, i think it helped heal the injury while letting me train! i highly recommend!

I ended up with *terrible* IT band problems, to the extent that when I finally gave up and stopped running, I could barely walk without crying. My PT recommended I wear the strap during the day, to keep the pain under some level of control while I did the whole resting/stretching/strengthening recovery process. It was *miraculous* for me--in other words, I was not in mortal agony all the time. Now, five months later, I'm running again. The only real way to stop IT band problems is resting and heavy-duty stretching (buy yourself a good foam roller), but as far as pain management during recovery goes, this strap is unbeatable.

Well, recovered from a IT Band injury- had to rest it for 2 months. Been using this, and doing better stretching, and the there has been zero pain. I dont know if it's the new shoes, stetching, or the band- but hey, if it's pain free- I'm keeping it on. :P

Don't expect miracles and be sure you're ready to part with the cost of the band before you buy it. I've found it to help, but only a little bit, and unfortunately I've found resting your IT band is the only way it'll really heal.

I've been using the IT Band Wrap for two weeks and have been running pain free. So far, the targeted support provided by the Wrap is working.

It's been a month my mileage has tripled. With the compression wrap and the correct the stretches I have minimal pain. The best thing is my training has not been interrupted.

Have not had any pain since using this. Will provide feedback when I increase mileage but so far it's been great and I have worn it for a month now. Too early for 5 stars yet.
