Product Description:

PRO-TEC ATHLETICS NIGHT FOOT SPLINT :: Alleviates Achilles Tendonitis Pain. Lightweight design comfortably alleviates arch and heel pain while you sleep. Brace covered in soft cushioned sleeve provides a gentle stretch to the plantar fascia and achilles tendon during sleep.

Sizing:

Small - Men (up to 7.5) / Women (6-8)
Medium - Men (8-10) / Women (8.5-10.5)
Large Men (10.5-12) / Women (11-13)

Features & Benefits:

  • Profile: Holds ankle in a fixed position while you sleep
  • Helps treat Plantar Fasciitis: Gentle stretch makes Plantar Fascia more flexible, reducing heel and arch pain
  • Helps treat Achilles Tendonitis: Gently stretches Achilles Tendon for improved range of motion
  • How to use: Place foot in brace, fasten Velcro® straps over foot, ankle and shin. Fit should be snug but comfortable. Most people will see results in 1-2 weeks of nightly use
  • Comfortable anatomic design: Contoured plastic core with padded cover that can be removed for washing
  • Foam toe wedge for adjustable ankle flex: Use to get move ankle flex or snugger fit
  • Size by shoe size (Toes should not hang over end of brace) **Per fit testing

Won't work if you move at night

It does keep your foot in the proper position and is easy to use. However, it's bulky in bed and you really notice it. If you try to turn, the sheets can hang up on it. If you want to get up to go to the bathroom, you can't walk on it very easily. I have wooden floors and it slips on the smooth surface. Plus your foot can get warm or hot with it on.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

      Not the most beautiful thing and it won't turn on the best nocturnal activities but this thing works well for designed purpose. It is a bit cumbersome and the velcro fastening is not of the highest quality but, again, it is functional. It brought me relief after the first night.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      This would probably work if it wasn't so uncomfortable. I find myself ripping it off in the middle of the night so I can get some sleep. My heal also keeps slipping. I think the sock may work better and it's cheaper.
