I run 25-30 miles a week and always had tight hamstrings and then I developed ITB Syndrome. My Sports doctor highly recommended using the Foam Roller at home and it is indeed INCREDIBLE!! After every run, I roll out my hammies and of course the ITB and I have had no problems since I started using it.

A 35 year runner, I had always wondered about the use of foam rollers and never tried it. Now working with a trainer and she suggested - commended - that I use one. It hurts in all the right places and for all the right reasons; it also is working as my flexibility increased from the first use!

I bought this item because my boyfriend has a Trigger-Point Foam Roller. I used it and it was really awesome. This, however is not the same as Trigger Point Roller. However, it doesn't make it bad, it's just totally different. I find this foam roller to be really useful for relaxation and general stretching. It's not as intense as a trigger-point foam roller, but effective in a completely different way! I now have both and use this one almost daily!

Many people suggested I buy one of these for my IT band issues. Road Runner is a reliable place for this sort of product. I just wish they had more than pink or blue. I suppose color is minor if the product works. It is awkward to roll the hip/side of my leg and it hurts tremendously, but it does seem to loosen the tightness and eventually the pain also eases up a bit.

I love this thing! I had a fitness trainer show me how to use this to on my legs before and after runs to stretch and work out problem areas of legs. Instructions came with the roller to show you how to work on arms, thighs, and the back also. My husband loves it for the back! I would definitely recommend this to other runners or anyone who works out or has a problem back.
