Wearing it overnight doesn't work. To get your foot in a good position for it to make a difference means a portion of top strap bites into the back of your knee which gets very uncomfortable. This hasn't cured the issue, but I grimace & whimper a little less. I like the idea of it, would prefer a better way if one comes up. Comments about Pro-Tec Athletics Soft Splint For Plantar Fasciitis Injury Recovery: Perhaps I just don't have the perfect size. This starts out well but as the night goes on, the sock creeps down and the tension lessens on the velcro side straps. The velcro is very strong, so it sticks to everything and gets annoying. I wear a ladies size 7.5 shoes and don't have large calves, but I couldn't get the top strap to comfortably reach it's mate. I either had to tighten it too much or have a scratchy area of exposed velcro, or attach it right to the sock (which wasn't very effective). That being said, my heel pain is not as terrible in the morning when I wear the splint all night. Pros

It has worked from day one so I highly recommend it to anyone experiencing continual pain from planter fasciitis.

I wound up at 6 miles per day and 40/week after about 3 months of training, and then developed plantar fasciitis. I put up with it for about 3 months and it didn't go away.
