Not near as much room in the toebox as my Saucony ProGrid Omni 7 Moderate's and it took me a little while to figure out how to tie them so I would not get blisters on the inside ball of my foot. Now that I got the toebox loosened up enough, they are great. They feel a little loose when I start my run my a couple miles into it, my feet start to fill them out a little more and they are very comfortable. Shin and knee pain have disappeared as well. I would consider buying them again!

Outstanding fit (even with full length orthotics), lightweight, subtle support, and excellent cushioning....

This is the first Pearl Izumi Running shoe I've used and I doubt I'll be returning to Asics any time soon. Very light, great stability, excellent arch support. Probably a bit lighter than I need, but works great for races and shorter runs (I'm 5'8" 185lbs) I'll be alternating with my Syncroinfinity's for longer runs. With regard to previous reviews, these are not cushioning shoes, but they are reasonably cushioned.

Very nice shoe overall - very stable, fairly light. The only downside for me - they're a little stiffer than what I was hoping for.

I have been running on Adidas for almost 5 years; the 5 years before that I ran on Asics. I decided to take a chance based on RRS Shoe Dog recommendation to try the Pearl Izumis. After one month of running on these shoes, I can honestly say they are the best shoes I've run in since some Asics I owned in the late 90s. They are responsive and fit true to size. Thanks Pearl Izumi. NOW PROMISE ME YOU WON'T CHANGE THEM...!

Not a well cushioned shoe, and not very responsive. Lightweight and is a nice looking shoe, but was not satisfied; had to return these.
