6' 200# midfoot striker, narrow foot. Bought these shoes 1 month ago for 1/2 marathon (3/21). Perfect shoe for me but don't order this model if you have a wide foot. First pair of Pearl's and I plan on buying 2 more of the syncroFuel's!!

These shoes run narrow, which I need, and 1/2 size shorter than shoes I normally purchase. Incredibly light-weight but great cushion. I'm 6' and 200# and a mid-foot striker. Don't even think about buying these if you have a wide foot or need any kind of pronation control.

Two runs down, many more to go. Shoes are just plain comfortable. I really like the larger strike zone on the forefoot and, while the shoes are not the lightest on the market, they feel great throughout the run. Many other reviewers noted that a) the shoe runs small and b) they take a while to break in. I ordered my typical shoe size and they fit fine (I wear a 10.5 so buy 11's) and after my first 10 miler, the sole had loosened up significantly. I'm excited to see how durable they are - if they last, and I think they will, I'll be buying many more pairs.

Had the trail version (Syncrofuel XC) and liked them so much I ordered the road version. The road version runs substantially smaller. I returned them for a pair a half size larger (a full size larger than my street shoes). Have logged about 100 miles on the shoes and I like them as much as the XC.

These shoes overal are great, but they take time to break in. They also don't preform very well off roads. The rubber on the fore foot comes of in small chunks, not enough to be a problem but enought to be mentioned. They don't sit very close to the ground unlike other shoes of the same weight, so they dont feel fast and more suitable to long training runs. On the positive side, the upper is extremely comfortable and the cushioning shows almost no signs of wear after 300miles. The plastic crash pad in the heel also works very effectivly. Overall, this shoe is great and it provides the best ride on pavment that I have ever seen(for off road try the XC edition).

30-40 miles/week. Love these shoes. They took about 20 miles to break in, but I love them now. Will be buying another pair very soon!!

Be prepared as this shoe runs small in length. I had to send back for a half-size up and I thought I was already buying a half-size bigger than usual! But for my long skinny feet, this shoe fits like a glove. Love the light weight and integrated tongue. They feel responsive.

This is a great shoe for a medium-to-fast runner who needs some stability. I am a triathlete who does about a 1:35 Half Marathon and this shoe worked great for me at that distance. Might be a little too bulky for those seeking a true 'racing flat'. These shoes are good for racing longer distance but feel more like a training shoe than a racer.
