I liked the light weight of the shoes however the lack of forefoot cushion was disapointing. If you are a heel striker then these shoes are perfect for you. If you run POSE then I would recommend a different shoe. Just my opinion.  Pros

Comments about Womens Pearl Izumi Peak XC Trail Running Shoe: Not only it took over 3 weeks to get them (ordered them online), but they were too small (although my regular size for running shoes). Ran 6 miles of trails, felt very lightweight, breathable and responsive, but killed my longest toe. A little bit more arch support would help (Nike Free Run are my all times favorites and I was trying to find something similar for trail running). Dissapointed to return them. I'm going to try New Balance 101 before ordering one size up.

Comments about Womens Pearl Izumi Peak XC Trail Running Shoe: I had achilles problems. I chose these for their flexibility to let my foot bend properly. They worked a treat and my achilles is much improved. Love how comfy they are, very lightweight, very responsive. Just GREAT!
Comments about Womens Pearl Izumi Peak XC Trail Running Shoe: I am a true size 10 and these run one size too small. I bought them in another state so returning them was not an option. I didn't realize they were too small until I got home and hit the treadmill. I now own these expensive shoes that kill my toes. They are very lightweight though and VERY cute. The salespeople should be more educated on this shoes' sizing issues. Comments about Womens Pearl Izumi Peak XC Trail Running Shoe: If you want a light weight shoe for walking around this is your choice but I would not use these for trail running. They have absolutley no support and fit like a sock liner type shoe. The upper is so thin dirt and sand funnels through the fabric into the shoe. It is extremely lightweight and responsive. It rides low to the ground, and feels fast and stable on the trails. It fits like a glove. Even though it's a light shoe, it still has plenty of protection from rocks in the sole. If you're looking for a fast, low, responsive trail shoe, this is the one to get. I've tried a few, and it's my new favorite. Not sure how it will wear yet because I haven't had them long enough. Comments about Womens Pearl Izumi Peak XC Trail Running Shoe: I love these shoes. My two pairs have fit me in my regular size. they are extremely comfortable to me. They are my favorite shoes as of now. I prefer the black color to the pink. The only negative is that they wear down fairly quickly and they are expensive.
