Actually, I loved this model. I have bought 3 pairs (one pair per six months). Routinely, I cover 60 km per week and this shoe helped me to avoid any pain.

After years of wearing Saucony Grid Stabil's I switched to these PI's. Wow. Love them. Best shoes I have ever owned.

Terrific shoe, my first PI. Lightweight for a motion control shoe, yet good stability and cushioning. I'm 145 lbs. with flat narrow feet...wear with thick socks. Very comfortable and seems to improve my stride.

My God! I haven't seen so many stars since the last time I sat on my testes! I'm a big fan of PI singlets; maybe it's time these PI people got some of the performance shoe market share, as well.

Byb Bye New Balance. I'm a 250 pounder that runs 18 to 20 miles a week on very flat feet. I'm sick of NB changing shoe models which makes it a roll of the dice each time you bye. These Pearls are great! I'll use these for now on.

5' 9" 165 lbs. Overpronator. The shoe dog recommended these shoes. I had never heard of Pearl Izumi and was reluctant to get them, but the reviews were great so I gave it a try. I've been running on them for a month and they are fantastic. I'd recommend these to anyone who needs a motion control shoe.

I've always been jealous of people who found their shoe and stuck with it. After having so many shoes I thought Roadrunner might drop me, I think I've found my perfect shoes. Firm cushioning and enough control make this the best running shoe I've ever had.

These shoes are great!! I have flat feet and over-pronate. I have no pain running in these shoes. I had never heard of these shoes until the "shoe dog" suggested them. Now they are my 1st choice.

The best motion control around. I'm a 130 lb. woman with wide, super over-pronating feet, so I wear men's motion control and usually they are too stiff. Brooks feel like hiking boots to me, compared to these. The synchroguides fit my orthodics. No breaking in. No sore baby toes. I run faster and longer and my gait is better. I hope Pearl Izumi will offer women's wide width soon! Thanks for the best shoe ever.

Im 6' tall 230 lbs running 15 miles a week and tried the Asics Kayano 14, Asics 2130, Brooks Trance 8 and had no luck until the owner of the store got involved and recommended the PI Syncroguide 2 and man I never looked back. Awesome shoe very comftorable and no blisters. Im an over pronator and this shoe keeps me right on track to neutral position with no problems. Love this shoe. I was first skeptical since, I had never heard of this brand before. But the owner did mention that alot of his Asics customers are moving over to PI. That tells you something.

Wore NIKE for years until my last pair kept giving me blisters. Seems my foot widen too much for the narrow NIKE's. I went to a real running store that immdediately recommended the Pearls. I tried them on and I can't say enough good things about them. I don't worry about my feet anymore, so that I can concnetrate on my runs. It fit me like a glove. Up to now I've run about 100 miles and they still feel like new.

These are fantastic. Up to a few years ago I had been a die-hard Asics fan for thirty years, way back to the X-Caliber GT's. While trying shoes after a marahon in Park City I tried the Vitals, which I understand these replaced. I have a high arch and medium frame. I haven't found a shoe, or shoe technology close to what PI has going now.

Got injured in Dec 07. Been trying different shoes and going physical therapy with no luck until I ran in these. I ran with no pain and woke up with no pain. The 1-piece top fits like a glove. Definitely has more cushion than other motion control. It's all good.
