Iron shield of protection, a plus if running on broken glass. Stability also noticeable. Forces my foot into a stride that's unnatural for me. Purchased to use on gravel and wintertime mash. Snow and mash won't clear the sole without a scraping effort. For frame of reference, I love my Nike Free 7.0 flippers. These are not free floating (which I didn't expect of course). They aren't my bag even for nasty rock and muck roads around these parts right now. Wonder how they feel behind the lawnmower?
