Excellent cushioning with mild support...all runners with orthotics and not wanting to be over-corrected should try this shoe...keeps your corrected foot neutral...5 stars!

I'm on my second pair. I was running in Asics Cumulus, but had some foot issues. These help to releive some of the problem. I love these shoes. One warning: Keep track of the mileage. After about 300, you'll want to start looking for another pair, the cushioning breaks down. I RECOMMEND these shoes!!

I have had problems with shin splints for the past 2 years off and on until a friend recommended Pear Izumi syncrofloat IIIs. Wow, what a difference a shoe makes. Wish they had more colors in this model though.

I have tried Asics Kayano, Nike, NB, and Saucony but have yet to find a light weight shoe that provides as much cushioning as the syncrofloat III. I am definitely a convert.

I am a heavier runner that recently tried the Asics Gel Kayano because of all the hype. I was in pain following each run. I switched to the PI syncrofloat III and have been pain free since - what a difference these shoes make. A much better shoe.

This is a pretty nice shoe, well made, designed and has an attractive appearance. I tried this as an alternative to my Nike Vomero 3 and was a little disappointed. To me this is not really a neutral shoe, it is basically posted on the medial side and rides like a stability shoe for the most part, which is to say not as plush or lightweight as expected. I'm sticking to the Vomero's.

Another really nice Pearl Izumi shoe. At 214 lbs, this is a nice running shoe for a heavier runner with high arches. Not the best shoe if you want a lot of cushioning. Good looking shoes.
