I have finally found a shoe to replace Nike. and at a desent price at that. I just got them ran 6miles felt great, will see how feet, and shins feel tomorrow, I hope I can use this as a replacement for Nike, there shoes just don't hold up for the price, and I don't like where they are made. thank you.

Comments about Womens Pearl Izumi Cruise Running Shoe:

I wanted to get a lighter version of the SyncroFloat so tried the Cruise. This is a good shoe, perfectly neutral, lightweight, but to me it felt stiff and less responsive than the SyncroFloat. Don't get me wrong, a true neutral runner (I supinate a bit much) would probably love this shoe, but for a high mileage runner the extra ounces are worth sticking with the SF.

Comments about Womens Pearl Izumi Cruise Running Shoe:

I love the look of this shoe, and have enjoyed others by this brand.
The only warning: they run wider and longer than most P I shoes. So I would not size up 1/2 size.

They felt great (but too big) for my initial test run.
I cannot say yet how well they wear.

I like these shoes but I can't say I am completely satisfied. The site suggested to buy it half size big. I did, but thought I should have bought a 7.5. Then, I lost track of the 60 day return day and never got the 7.5 to compare. The back of my legs hurt the first times I ran in them but don't know if it was the shoes.

Comments about Womens Pearl Izumi Cruise Running Shoe:

I originally purchased the PI Cruise from the "once worn" rack at RRS, and they turned out to be one of my best purchases. They fit my foot like a comfortable glove and I don't need to add high arch insoles. These are also the most durable shoes I've ever owned -- They have taken quite a beating with the miles I've put on them. My original pair probably has 400+ miles on them and hardly look or feel like they need to be retired. I purchased 3 more new pairs, just in case.

FINALLY, I love these shoes, I have never tried this brand before I am a die hard Sauc fan and actually had just bought a new pair of NB, but decided to give these a try and am sooo glad I did, I am a neutral runner that prefers a stiffer shoe with cushioning and this fits the bill, I was and am very impressed! In fact I would like to buy another pair to trade out as I find myself slipping these on and leaving my other five pairs sitting under my dresser!

I love love love these shoes. They have a lot of cushion for such a light weight shoe. I've been looking for a replacement for the Nike Lunar Trainers and I like this shoe so much better. I feel like it cradles my foot without restricting or controlling the movement. The shoes are very breathable - looking forward to the ventalation in the summer. I found these true to size - I was a 7.5 in the Nikes but I wear a 7 in the Cruises. Liek the previous reviewer, I ran 9 miles right out of the box and a half marathon the next week with no issues. I will be getting more of these.
