This is the best shoe that I've had the pleasure putting on my feet! I've gone through Asics (decent support but heavy), Mizuno (comfortable but lacking support), Adidas (all-around bad shoe... 2 different styles both caused major blistering). These Pearl Izumis are awesome! My first run with these was the Gear In Gear 1/2 Marathon, and I had not a single issue. Two week later, I ran in these for the Fargo Marathon, and they felt like light, little teddy bears cushioning my feet. I can't say enough great things about these shoes.

This is a very comfortable shoe and not too heavey, but with ordering a 1/2 size up, it was just a bit too wide/long in the front so i will try my regular shoe size.

I wear this shoe at work with a custom orthotic. It is very comfortable and nice looking. Also use it for dance aerobics, and it is light and supportive. My husband bought it for me, I am very pleased with it.

Oct. 2010 I bought my 3rd pair of PI sychroPace III. PI must have done something different since my last pair. I ordered the same size that I always order, but these feel a 1/2 size too small. Returning them for an 8.5;[...] Otherwise, I still love these shoes. These are the only running shoe that I've used over the last 2 years. I will feel lost when PI discontinues them.

I walk 2-3 miles on a treadmill 5 days a week and I do some strength training and a stretch routine after my walk. I've always bought a walking shoe and decided to give a running shoe a try when my old shoes wore out. I loved the results. This shoe is light and has a great spring to it. I find myself walking longer than usual. The fit is great. I especially like the mesh top. It conforms to whatever socks I decide to wear, thick or thin. I highly recommend this shoe.

These shoes are my favorite. They fit well and provide support and comfort. I run on a treadmill with them and they are very supportive. They do tend to wear out on the inside of the heal. It was suggested to me when evaluated at a Road Runner's Retail Store to buy motion control shoes, however, these shoes still feel the best on my feet.

I am a newer runner, having taken this sport up at approx. 58 years of age. I run around 4 miles at a go, 4-5 times/week. So not so much an avid athlete (although for my age, I think I am), as a dedicated one. I tried numerous shoes before finding this one, and I am in awe of the fit. I use a SuperFeet insert (copper, previously berry) because I have a super-high arch, and the fit is perfect. The shape of the toe box is ample - something that the redesign has tweaked and which won't suit my foot, therefore I'm stockpiling the Syncropace III! It is comfortable during my runs, but it is also a great shoe for walking. I only wish that it came in all black! Highly recommend this shoe which is durable, lightweight and comfortable.

I had a foot injury and went through five other brands before I found this one...the toe box is wide and doesn't pinch. It has just enough pronation control. I wish the forefoot had a little more cushioning.

These are great running shoes. I have rec'd a lot of compliments on them. I run early in the morning when it is still dark and love all the ilumilite on them. But **BEWARE** they run small!!! I wear a 6.5 or 7 on all my shoes. I ordered this shoe in both sizes. They were both too small. I had to reoder it in a 7.5. I've never worn a 7.5 in any shoe befoe. But it's the right fit for this shoe. So my advice is to order a 1/2 to full size larger!

I really like these shoes! I was used to running with stability shoes that had the bar crossing the bottom of the shoe, but these have the stability mechanism that wraps around the midsole. They are comfy, lightweight and cushiony. Plus the toe box height and width are very accomodating to my almost wide feet. You might want to consider ordering these shoes true to size. Since they don't ship directly from RRS they did take longer to get to me, but I thought it was worth the wait.

Every foot is different. But these are one of the few shoes that I have tried that I can run in without foot cramps. Which makes me very happy.

I love these shoes!!! I have used them for my past 3 half-marathons and some duathlons...they are comfortable right out of the box- NO BREAK IN PERIOD!!! I would be lost without them! I hope they never stop making them!
