I used this product for a 15 mile long run. They felt comfortable. It started to rain at mile 3 for about 20 minutes but when the rain stopped, it did not take long to feel dry. My car upholstery is of beige leather and when I got home it was black stained from the fabric. Also, when I took them off, my waist was also black stained. Another thing is that the Pearl Izumi logo came off the side leg.

I started running 28 years ago and have been wearing compression shorts for most of that time to stop inner thigh chaffing. These are, by far, the best I have owned. I always wore briefs under the others, but these have the built-in brief and it works great. Cut the tags off and ran a 13 miler soon as I got them. So comfortable! Going to order a second pair.

I've been running in compression shorts for a few years now. I started with a medium-length pair of another brand. I loved the freedom of movement and zero drag in the wind, but they were just a little too long, and things didn't always stay where they belonged. I ordered a pair of the same brand's shorts (from Australia), and they were really just too short. So I've been looking for something in the middle for over a year. I bought a pair of these based on other reviews on this site. After a few weeks of running in them, I must say they are the most comfortable compression shorts yet. The fit is perfect, and the style with the side panel (I got the gray side panel) says "I'm not running in my underwear" just enough. The liner keeps things where they belong much better than expected. It's also excellent to have the back zipper pocket. I'll be ordering a few more of these before long.

didn't take long before the compression aspect of these started to fail. They are still comfy, but no compression left. Only took 3-4 months before I could feel the loss.

These compressions shorts are well constructed, high quality, and provide the right support without restricting freedom of motion. These are the first compressions shorts I have owned with a built in brief, which adds the right amount of support. The zipper pocket is great and is the right size for one gel pack, key, and ipod.

There are several little pockets and a zipper with a back pocket that is great. Very comfortable compression shorts!

I have 3 pairs of these shorts - and just can't say enough about the fit, quality and comfort of them!
