I would've liked them a lot better if I would've gotten them 1/2 size bigger. They fit, but, when I run my toes really smack the front hard. I would recommend these shoes only if they get them 1/2 size bigger. They look great!

I bought this shoe because I was curious what a bicycling company would know about running.
I absolutely fell in love with this shoe -I will say this is my first pair and search for Pearl Izumi everytime I get on this website.
I thought I may have some difficulty running distance in these but they have surprised me greatly. I use them in my 5/10K's and ran my first half in them with a goal time in mind -I exceeded my expectations. My legs/feet recovered quickly and I was able to resume my usual schedule. I will wear these shoes out...or until I get a replacement pair.

I tried this product in a practice run and fell in love with the shoe. I love the wide toe box and the comfortable feeling it gives me. The shoe does wear out a little faster than other shoes I've had. I have also increased my milage sinced I have purchased this shoe. I no longer have problems with black toe or with my shins

It took me several tries to find the right shoe that would not make my foot go numb. Finally, this shoe feels great and does not cause numbing. I had previously tried New Balance because I like more room in the toe box but they didn't work. These are very roomy in the toe box and fit comfortably, I normally wear a size 8, 8 1/2 tops in shoes but the correct size for me in this shoe is a 9 1/2.

I am just now getting into running, but have gone through 2 pairs of shoes feeling unhappy and uncomfortable. These shoes feel so right and look great. They are lightweight and provide the support my feet need. I am very happy.

I have been a triathlete for 11 years now. I have been running in the Pearl Izumi's for the last four. I can't say enough about the quality of these shoes. First of all, they last longer than any pair of running shoes I have ever owned. When they do start wearing down, I don't get the aches and pains in my knees and ankles like I have with other shoes. They are light weight yet provide excellent cushion. I experienced no negative issues with this shoe. The white mesh does get dirty eventually, but a water guard protectant does help.
