    Comments about Mens Pearl Izumi ELITE In-R-Cool Tri Short Long Fitted Shorts:

    I am a 54 year old male. I am 6'5" tall and weigh 210 lbs.
    I am not a triathlete.
    I am a runner and a cyclist.
    I bought these shorts to go from short training rides to short training runs without having to change anything other than my shoes. For what I bought them for, they work just fine. However, if I was going to run more than 5K or ride more than 20 miles, I'd reach for either purpose designed running shorts or riding shorts.
    Materials and quality are excellent. There is a chamois, but it is very thin - as it needs to be for running. There is a drawstring waist, which is necessary as the waist naturally sits low. I prefer a high waist for cycling. The drawstring helps keep the shorts where I like them.
    Finally, I label them as "runs small" because the sizing chart suggests a large for me, but the extra large fits fine. In this respect these shorts are consistent with other Pear Izumi shorts I own.
