I have worked out in Chuck Taylor's for ever and recently came across the nano 3.0 on sale due to release of the 4.0. I've been wanting something a bit more versatile than the chucks and these fit the bill perfectly. They are exceptionally comfortable and are great all around. I tested them out running, sprinting, and lifting weights. While they don't do any of these perfectly, they allow you to do a bit of everything without changing shoes mid workout. During max effort lifts or a day full of Olympic lifting, I do change into my Nike Romaleos II. Everything else I have been totally comfortable doing in these nano 3.0's. Actually, I just purchased a second pair for when these wear out. I hate when shoes update an already perfect fit so I now have 2 pair just in case. The toe box is really wide on these, so skinny feet may not appreciate that. Mine are quite wide so these are perfect. As a gym shoe, this is a jack of all trades.

This is absolutely the best training , weight lifting shoe I ever wore by far! Great flexibility in the toe for DU and box jumps. Very stable to the floor when oly lifting, the only drawback is sizing it tends to big in size so down size a half size FYI! the shoebox is really wide so your foot has more than enough room to move. I wear a size 12 under armour training shoe and this shoe I had to order 11.5 and it fits perfect ! Unless of course you have wide feet than stick to same size but I have narrow feet. I'll definitely be buying another pair only if they keep up on stock in my size urrggghh!!
I've abandoned the typical gym experience and transformed myself into a distance runner. But to excel in running, one should also engage in strength training, plyometrics, and other forms of circuit training. Enter CrossFit! Awesome stuff, my life will never be the same. Still running, but with a whole new approach to my overall fitness. The CrossFit Nano 3.0 is very functional and adaptive to the many varied workouts that CrossFit provides. They give you balance and are highly durable. They also work fine for olympic weightlifting, assuming you aren't a total beast and lifting major weight.
whoa! these are for weightlifting
I use these shoes for training and couldn't be happier. I was training in the nike frees but the soles are so darn soft.
I like these because they keep you flat and stable. Not the best cushioned shoe like a running shoe, but these aren't supposed to be. But it does the job just enough.
I have wide feet, and usually wear a 10 with most competitors and decided to go 9.5. Seems like they were made just for me. The toe box is very roomy..narrow footers beware.
Try them on in store to get a better feel for them.

Amazing evolution of a great shoe!
The new CrossFit Nano 3.0 is even better than the 2.0, which on its own merits is an excellent shoe for CrossFit athletes. The 2.0 seemed to run just a tad too small (my big toe was right up to the toe box and it took a few weeks of wear for the shoe to stretch out.
Not so with the 3.0! It's a perfect fit! No need to buy a 1/2 size bigger like some often do with the 2.0.
The shoe is even more stylish than before -- got plenty of complements at my box today.
Don't hesitate -- this is THE best CrossFit shoe Reebok has ever made!

all-purpose search ended!
I have been looking for a replacement for 5 year old cross-training shoes for a while now. I needed something that would be light enough, with enough support for agility drills/sprint drills, but also have a wide enough footbed for squats and deadlifts. My search has ended with the Reebok nano 3. Its a fairly light shoe with a comfortable toe-box for weight training, light and stable enough for jogging/elliptical, and will not roll out from under my foot for change of direction drills. Its as close to a perfect shoe as I have found
Greatest Shoe Ever
It's basically an athletic moccasin. Super lightweight, incredibly responsive, and insanely comfortable. I own multiple pairs and wouldn't workout in anything else. They are a touch wide but I just buy a half size smaller than I typically wear and you get an amazingly snug fit in the heel and midfoot and just a tiny bit of wiggle room in the front, which is how I like my shoes to fit. Just do yourself a favor and buy a pair.
New York City
This is by far one of the best purchases i made from roadrunnersports. After reading all the reviews, i decided to go with half a size smaller than my usual shoes. True enough, the wide toe box makes the diff unnoticible. Provides excellent support and stability when i am doing my circuits. Never brought it out on a long run cos i dont think they were designed for that purpose-but i may be wrong. All in all, superb shoes that make me feel like a superhero ;)
Soof the fat one
Great width fit, long length fit.
These shoes fit perfectly width-wise and in the heel. However, these shoes come in a half-size to a full-size too big length-wise! I am a 9 or a 9.5 in Nike running shoes and I heard that these run big so I ordered an 8.5. They're still too long, but being that they fit so well width-wise and that I had already put some serious wear on them, I decided not to exchange them for an 8.
Not what I expected
Waited a month to get these as they were on back order.
I know it's superficial to say, but when I took these out of the box they looked like an ugly pair of crocks, but were not nearly as comfortable as crocks. They are very light, but the sole feels like you are walking on a hardwood floor. I was expecting a bit more cushion.
I intended to use them during my Insanity workouts, but they are too uncomfortable.
Great for CrossFit
This is a very good CrossFit shoe. It has a little more cushioning than the Nano 2.0 while still being good for higher rep O-lifts. For heavier O-lifts I use the Romaleos. I'm not a Pose or barefoot runner so I could still use a bit more cushioning, but they are great for short WOD distances. I wear a size 9 and have a slightly wider foot. These fit well. The shoe is stylish and very durable.
My first pair of nano's, love them
I can't compare the 3.0's to the 2.0's, but I can tell you that the 3.0's are awesome. I bought the white/cherry red because they were the only color that they had available. I was reluctant to buy them because they look almost pink. To my surprise, everyone at the gym compliments the color. Most important, they are comfortable, lightweight, and durable. I love these shoes, but I wouldn't want to run in them, long distance anyway.
pretty good shoe... so far.
These shoes look good, can't lie. They do come wide though. I have normal to wide feet and they were loose on me. I have the inserts from Road Runner plus normal thickness knee high socks which make them fit properly, without I would be looking to downsize 1/2 to 1 full size. I have only had them a day so I can't tell you anything more about them other then the sizing.
Avid runner turned crossfiter
I felt it to be a little narrow in the heel but nothing noticeable in the middle of a crossfit session. I am returning for the nano 2.0 because its a little less bulky an fits my foot better. Overall it is a amazing shoe, just not for me. I would buy in a heartbeat if the 2.0 wasn't available
Solid gym shoe
I am a personal trainer and perform about 240 workouts per year all in the same shoe. The Nano 3 really steps up to the challenge. I can't wear the heavy EVA "marshmallow" shoes as the break down too fast. These shoes have the right amount of support and cushioning as well as stability for "cross fit" type work outs.
A Great functional training Shoe
This shoe is great period, cannot find any flaws to be honest. It definitely outshines it's sister shoe the Nano Speed, which is a little baggy in the fit and bit to thin under foot. The Nano is a good stable lifting platform and flexible enough for other functional movements.
Shoes are great. Durable enough to stand up to a demanding crossfit workout. They don't really help me for distance running. For that I switch to a shoe with slightly more support. I will be buying another pair of these to keep in the workout rotation.
Another great nano edition so far so good with the 3.0. The toe box is large like others say but you get use to it. Also with the original nano I had a 9.5. I ordered the same with the 3.0 and I think I could have gotten away with a 9.0.
Saint Cloud, MN
Use these shoes on a daily basis through the toughest workouts and they hold up great. They are comfortable, never giving me any blisters or arch pain. Great overall shoes!!
Buy your true size. I had to return them for a half size smaller due to the wide toe box. I can't wait for them to get here and hit the Box for the daily WOD. I'm, for the first time, hoping for rope climbs.
Crossfit Old Guy
Good design awkward fit n forefoot
Sending my original order of 9.5 back for a 9 hoping that it will fit more true and not be so wide. If the sizing & fit was like other shoes this shoe would be superb. Reebok nailed it with all other aspects of this shoe.
Amazing, like running on air!
The first time I wore my shoes out running the River Park Trail, I ran my fastest without fatigue and felt like I was running on air. Love the shoes and how they look. Amazing.
Great Crossfit Shoe
Shoe fits a little big, but feels great during WODS. Probably will order another pare just a half size smaller. Style not so great but its a workout shoe so who cares.
North Little Rock, AR
Great quality shoes. I just prefer a tighter fit like the Inov-8. The Reebok's are comfortable and very stable when doing WOD and Olympic Weight lifting.
Nice shoe with lots of added features
I received these shoes for my cross fit training. They are very lightweight and comfortable, but just slightly wide in the toe box.
nano 3 rocks cross fit workouts
hands down the best cross fit shoe. they are so comfortable i bought a second pair to wear at work.
houston, tx #crossfit105
