I don't often write reviews. Purchased these shoes primarily to jump rope and for gym use. They fit like a glove and are the most comfortable work-out shoes I've ever worn.

There is little/no arch support so I replaced the supplied insole with my own which supplied the support I needed.

    The traction of this shoe is amazing, no more slip outs during heavy squats with these on! I use these primarily for powerlifting (Deadlift, Squat, Clean & Press, and Bench Press). Great ankle support for squats. Thin, flat sole for Deads. Basically a heavily reinforced leather Chuck Taylor with a sole Spider Man would kill for. Great for people with wide feet too!!!!
