Comments about R-Gear Womens RRS Second Wind-Front Tight: I live in Upstate NY, and run all winter long. This is my second pair of these tights. The first pair wore well, with the exception of the ankle zippers which rubbed on my legs. I was happy to see the zippers now are protected from my legs. As far as the fit, I am a "medium" 5'5" muscular 140 lb woman, and these fit fine. The legs feel a bit tight, but that is due to the windproof material I'm guessing. I'm looking forward to staying warm in these on my winter runs.
Comments about R-Gear Womens RRS Second Wind-Front Tight: I really like these pants a lot, but there are a couple of things that do bug me. The pants are a little long (I'm 5'6" w/ average length legs) so the knees don't fall in quite the right place and there's bunching at the ankles. Also, unless I tie them really really tightly (which is uncomfortable at first) they tend to droop during my run and settle low on my hips where they chafe my waist on a longer run. Comments about R-Gear Womens RRS Second Wind-Front Tight: As a previous reviewer said, these seem a little long - which is why I picked them. I'm 5'8" and the small is the perfect length on me. Comfy, too. Pros

Comments about R-Gear Womens RRS Second Wind-Front Tight: Just got these yesterday, and I really like them, however I will have to return them because they are just too long. I read a lot of reviews stating how long they were, but I thought maybe I could make them work. Well, when I unzip the ankle, the extra fabric drags on the ground which obviously won't hold up long running 25-30 miles per week :( This disappoints me because I can tell this is a very well made, quality product. The tights are lightweight, very warm, and I love the idea of the ankle zippers at the bottom. I didn't get a chance to run in them, but they seem like they would indeed be wind-proof. I am 5'1", 115 lbs. and I ordered an XS. The fit was great except for the length. I guess I'll try something else. Still adore RRS, as always, awesome service.
Comments about R-Gear Womens RRS Second Wind-Front Tight: Great cold weather tights and love the reflective dots at the hips. Comments about R-Gear Womens RRS Second Wind-Front Tight: The only thing I don't like about these tights is the ankle zipper. One of the zippers rubbed the back of my heel to the point it left a sore spot. That being said, I wore these in 28 degree temps and they were warm and comfy. Would definitely recommed these, just wear socks that cover your heels. Pros

Comments about R-Gear Womens RRS Second Wind-Front Tight: I live in the Flint Hills region of Kansas. The wind can make this place feel colder than when we lived in Fairbanks AK. I wore these the other day, it was 30 with 20mph winds. My legs were warm and didn't feel the bite of the wind. They were perfect. I ordered a L. I am 5'8 150. They were comfortable. The medium would of been tight.

Comments about R-Gear Womens RRS Second Wind-Front Tight: I had despaired of ever finding a really good pair of winter tights that did not leave me with windburn or frozen thighs. I can finally say I found them! I ran today in 20 degree weather and these were spot on perfect. Very comfortable, easy to put on, stayed up and in place without any problems, blocked that wind and kept me nice and warm. I wasn't hot - but I wasn't hurting with wind burn and chapped thighs. They are long but I just left the zipper opened a bit and let the material pool at my ankles. Did not bother me at all. I am 5'1" and 130 lbs and I got the "S" and the Medium would have been way too long. They fit very snugly. The staff at Road Runner said they were not compression but fitted but, based on the tag, these are compression. Doesn't matter - just thought I'd note that. I highly recommend them!

Comments about R-Gear Womens RRS Second Wind-Front Tight: At 40 degrees 10 -12 mph the wind panel is cold unless in direct sunlight. Your thermal tights are warmer. These are nice but better over 45 degrees. I was expecting an insulated wind front panel. I run in the country in farmland and not much wind break. At 40 with light wind the panel is borderline. By the end of the 4th mile I start to get a little stiff from the cold.

Comments about R-Gear Womens RRS Second Wind-Front Tight: Tight keeps me very warm in extreme cold conditions. Reviews have said they are too long but I like them being long. Gives me great coverage at my ankles so don't get draft or snow coming through. I have average inseam length, wind proof panel does not stretch as much but was not constricting during my run.

Comments about R-Gear Womens RRS Second Wind-Front Tight: I bought these tights for road cycling, mountain biking and running in 35 below temperatures. I am very pleased with this purchase. Very nice quality for the price. Looking at the size chart I originally ordered a Medium. I returned them for a Small. I believe they run a little on the large side. The small is still a bit roomy. That being said, they are very comfortable. I can wear a pair of tri shorts underneath for longer road rides.

Comments about R-Gear Womens RRS Second Wind-Front Tight: These are great, except if you're short. The insulation pads on the knee area keep running down and I have to stop running and pull them up. If I don't it restricts my legs and gathers a bit on my lower legs. The zipper on the ankle part gets undone at times as well.

Comments about R-Gear Womens RRS Second Wind-Front Tight: I am 5'5", 115lbs. I ordered the xs, which is typically my RRS size. The pants are too long for me. They bunch up at the bottom. Perfect length if you're 5'7"-5'8". Though I usually like my pants a little on the low rise side, NOT cold weather running tights! The windproofing fabric on the thighs does not stretch, so you can't pull them up to compensate. The thighs are tight and feel very restrictive, like you couldn't get a full stride in. If you plan to try these, I would recommend going up a size from what you normally wear in RRS gear.

Comments about R-Gear Womens RRS Second Wind-Front Tight: I have another pair of RR tights that I love. Though both are size small, these are much smaller... shorter and tighter. The fit is just not as comfortable.

Comments about R-Gear Womens RRS Second Wind-Front Tight: I ran in these today for the first time, and am happy with the purchase. It's 23 degrees outside (12 degrees with wind chill) and they were warm and comfortable. I ordered a small after other reviewers said they run long, and they fit perfectly (note that they are quite tight). I am 5'5", 145 lbs with an athletic build and like my running tights to be tight. My only wish would be a zippered pocket along the waist, but all in all these are a great winter running tight.

Comments about R-Gear Womens RRS Second Wind-Front Tight: I wear these pants to run outside in the cold, I think if I wanted to I could wear them to the gym, but they look a bit funny. I only had to worry about keeping my feet warm when I went running in the cold 20 degree weather.

Comments about R-Gear Womens RRS Second Wind-Front Tight: Very comfortable tights for running in winter. Keeps me warm despite slingle digit temperatures, especially as they are wind resistant. some degree of compression to help with muscle fatigue. Good length like the elastic at the ankles to keep from riding up and exposing my ankles to cold Rochester, New York winter temps.! A very good buy!

Comments about R-Gear Womens RRS Second Wind-Front Tight: My usual racewalking course includes windy river side, so that the true "windproof" is a must in bitter cold winter days in New York. I bought several winter tights, but none of them were really "windproof" as those tights. I am 120 lb and 5' and ordered XS. It was the right size. The length seems to be little too long for me, but even it worked well. I leave the ankle zipper open a little, and let the excess fabric fall down on the socks, so that my ankles are not exposed to the cold weather.I ordered the second pair [...]

Comments about R-Gear Womens RRS Second Wind-Front Tight: We've been having a cooler than usual late fall/early winter in my area, and I wanted a tight that had some windblock but that wasn't as heavy as a full winter tight. I found these to be perfect for windier days with temperatures in the high teens to around 30F. Warm enough, and with enough windblock to avoid frozen thigh syndrome. My only con is that they do not have a key pocket. This may not be an issue for some people, but my top layers don't all have pockets so I really count on that being there. With it, this would have been an easy 5 out of 5 stars.
