These have been my favorite running shorts for several years now. I keep trying to find others that I like as well so that I have some variety, but without luck. These shorts are very comfortable, just the right length, true to fit, and I like having the inner liner. I follow the washing instructions, and they have held up excellently. I recently had to buy more pairs only because I dropped a size.

But my favorite thing about these shorts is the pockets! In addition to the usual teeny, tiny key pocket in the waistband, they have two front pockets with zippers, and a back pocket that velcro's closed. I don't carry a ton, but like to keep my key and ID together in one place, and my kleenex somewhere else so i don't lose anything when i pull it out. And I can run with my iPhone in the back pocket. I love, love, love these shorts!

I love these shorts. They are lightweight and very comfortable. I am 5'3"/145 lbs. and the length gives me the exact coverage I want without riding up. With 5 secure pockets, I have room for everything I need to carry--car keys, music, gel. The inner brief is comfy and fits well. I've been wearing these for 8-13 mile runs in 80 degree+ weather and they have been great. My first purchase was 2 pair--I'm ordering more. I think these shorts are the best.

Loved the shorts due to the fact that sit lower, and fit slightly longer than most running shorts. I also appreciate the fact that they do not have a high "split cut" on the sides (too revealing for my taste) I also like the light-weight nylon/supplex type fabric that dries very quickly.

The only negative is that by instinct, I ordered one size up, so I would say that the shorts run slightly small.

I too, have been searching for running shorts that have actual POCKETS in them. I like to carry my IPhone, gel beans, kleenex and sometimes keys with me. These shorts allow all of that and more. The drawstring is very nice as well. I like the length in that is not so short! Love these shorts and am ordering more tonight!l

I purchased a pair in grey a few weeks ago and fell in love with them. Great fit and very comfortable. Last week I ordered another two pair (black and watermelon) only to find out that they don't fit the same even though they are the same size. I'll be sending them back and exchanging them for a larger size.

I recommend these shorts to friends, co-workers, complete strangers, and anyone else who will listen. I absolutely love the longer length. I'm nearing 40 - 3" inseams are for the 20-year olds who have yet to develop cellulite. I constantly check RRS for new colors in these shorts because they've become my go-to shorts for short/medium/long runs, lifting weights, walking the dogs, running half marathons, etc. They're comfortable, breathable, and lightweight. They fit true-to-size. I'm 5'6", 138 lbs with an athletic build and wear size M. You can safely store your IDs, keys, gels/gummies, and even your cell phone in the pockets. I own five colors of these shorts and will continue to watch for more. I cannot recommend these highly enough!

Got these a few weeks ago. First thought was "these look too short to be a 5 inch inseam", but I was wrong. They are 5 inches and long enough to cover what needs to be covered. They are VERY comfortable and seem to wash well so far. I'm getting ready to order another pair.

These are comfortable running shorts with ample pockets - I can carry my mp3 players, keys, even ID and some cash so I'm ready for a solo run or for going out with my teammates after football practice. The fit is good, long enough to wear out after practice and comfortable for a variety of activities.

These are the best running shorts I have ever found! Zip pockets keep keys secure while running. I bought 1 pair to try, and I bought 2 more because I love them!

Length of these shorts are great. Lots of pockets. Seems to fit small. I use them to run in and to exercise. They don't ride up.

Great shorts that are a bit longer than average running shorts. The logo on the side has come off after only 2 washes and hanging to dry, disappointing.

I bought these for trail running because they are a little longer and all the pockets help me keep my keys and phone with me. I also love the pockets when I am just wearing them to run errands which I do because they are a little longer and offer good coverage. I would buy one size bigger than usual though.

These are really terrific shorts. I especially love all the pockets, including one in the back...that's very rare to find. They are a great length...not too short or too long...and they have an inner brief. They are extremely comfortable. I plan to order more.

It's hard to find running shorts with pockets and these have zippered pockets to hold all my essentials and then some. They are lightweight and not too short. Thank you for a great pair of shorts.

These are great for workouts, gardening, slipping over a swimsuit, or running to the store. I ordered a second pair because sometimes I just can't get them washed quickly enough, even though they don't take long to dry. I just needed another pair!

I wear these shorts to run on the treadmill. I plan on wearing them to run outside as soon as the snow is gone. I absolutely love them Very comfortable and they let you move easy no problems. I ordered the New Balance Temp 5" pair first. They are nice but not nearly as comfortable as the RRS 5" shorts. I love the RRS brand so much better. I ordered another pair.

I usually only wear compression shorts because I hate "ride-up"! Of all the loose fitting shorts I've tried these are definitely the most comfortable and usually stay in place. I wear a size 6 so I purchased the medium and they fit well but are pretty fitted in the hip area. I have no hips, so if I were any bigger I would suggest to buy a size up. Otherwise I'm very happy with these shorts.

I run 7-8 miles several times a week. That distance is long enough for a poor-fitting short to cause some real chaffing problems. I have a collection that haven't passed the test. These do. They don't bunch up or rub - just do what you need them to do. I'll be buying more!
