Simply the best

These are just right in every way. If you are 5'3 listen closely... these aren't too long or too short and had plently of room to fit my entire backside and weren't too tight in the thighs. The fabric is lighweight and great for in the gym or outside in 60 degrees and up. The price can't be beat. Thank you RRS! I will buy these over and over again.

Great pants! If short, watch the inseam!

I love these pants. I currently own the capri style which I love, and wanted to get something similar for winter. I do run outdoors, and in the colder weather of the east coast, these weren't as warm as I thought they would be. No gripe though, they are perfect for the gym fall/spring weather, and warmer winter days,...a must have! The overall fit with the wide waistband is great, with no bunching around the naval area. My only complaint and only reason I didn't give these a 5, is the length. If you are a shorter female, the regular lengths run too long. I am 5'3 average weight, and the regular medium with the slit had about two inches of extra fabric at the ankle falling off my running shoes. I had them hemmed, but I think the Med Short would have been perfect. Also the pants tend to be more fitted around the hips and looser below the thighs to ankle, so not as form fitting as yoga pants, but still flattering. Overall, I love these pants, the Road Runner sports brand is definitely becoming my favorite for workout apparel especially workout bottoms due to the fit and quality, which I usually have a fit problem with other big name brands.

Good price and great comfort

4

I love these pants. Part of my love comes from the fact that they came in a long which I totally need. Apparently the population is short? In any case I bought the Tall version and absolutely love them. They were a great price for a great casual pant to wear post workouts or on a lazy day off without feeling like a total bum. My only 'complaint' is that they seem to attract a lot of fuzz and hair. I think it is just the nature of this fabric but it does not stop me from wearing them with confidence.

Wow!

5

When I first saw these online, I skipped right over them. They looked really shiny and revealing. When I did not find what I was looking for, I went back and read the reviews on these pants. Turns out they are not shiny as in the picture...and all the reviews were positive. I love them! But, I do recommend you take the time to check the inseam length and make sure you get the right fit for you.

RRS pant

I'm 5'8" tall with long legs and an apple shape. I ordered the tall and only had to turn up the hem, but I knew regular would be too short. The pants wash and dry beautifully and are quite comfortable and well made. The only negative I see is they are real lint grabbers. I have two cats so I keep a tacky roller handy. They fit me well and move with me during workouts. I run in them as well as lift at the gym.

Comfy, all purpose pants

4

These are really good, comfortable all-purpose pants. I wear them to the gym and around the house. (Haven't tried them for running because of a knee injury). They are a little bit long--I'm 5'7" and wear size L. As one other reviewer noted, they do tend to pick up pet hair, so if you have animals around, you may want to have a clothes brush handy.

I would buy this product again!

5

I purchased 2 of these sports all sports everyday full-length pants (different colors)and love them! I love using them to lift weight and do yoga, it has GREAT range of motion and wickers moisture perfectly. All in all these are my favorite pair of full-length pants ever!

Love them!

5

I was looking for a long pant to wear when it wasn't quite compression tights time of year. This pant is fabulous! The waistband is super comfy, even has a little pouch inside for a key. Very stylish too, I feel like I could wear them out comfortably too. Only downfall is that they're a little long, but not excessively.

My wife loves them

5

My wife owns an older pair of these and asked for another as a gift since she likes them so much. The new pair do not disappoint. She loves the leg length in that they don't shrink up and the wide waistband that stays put while she's doing yoga, working out at the gym or out for a training run.

Nice pants

4

OK, I ordered the wrong size because the sizes were difficult to figure out - length and size combinations. So although the pants are too long and I will exchange for a shorter length, they are a quality product! They are a nice beefy weight and good cut. I think they will last a long time. I will be exchanging soon!

Pregnancy Pants

5

Ordered these when I found out I was pregnant and they are the first things I put on when I get home. Flattering fit (even @ 6 months), true-to size, very comfortable, and haven't faded. A little too heavy for running, but great elsewhere. 2nd pair on their way!

Great Pant

4

Great fit in the rise for shorter ladies. Wide waistband is nice. Might need to hem if less than 5'5". Fabric looks shiny in the photo - thankfully it is not. Heavier weight looks and feels great. Will likely buy another pair.

Very comfortable

Was looking for a comfortable pair of workout pants that were the right length for me. These truly fit the bill as they are very comfortable and the perfect length for me.

Love these pants!!!

5

I recently purchased these. Love them! So comfortable, good quality and the modern fit works perfectly for my body shape (pear). I'm 5'6", 135# and bought the regular L size. I almost bought the tall as usually everything is too short, but based on the reviews - thought I better try the regular length. The length on these is perfect - just skims the floor, without shoes. The large was a little loose, but that was okay with me. After washing, they shrunk up just a tiny bit, making them the perfect fit. They are a nice quality fabric, and they washed up nicely. Like another reviewer claimed, they are not shiny like the picture suggested. I got online to order another pair, and decided to add my two cents. These are perfect for the gym or just running around.

Great, except for the tag

4

I run 3 days and cross train 3 days a week at the gym. The petite size pant is long enough to cover my shoes, which is great because I have big feet. Overall, the pants are comfortable and I don't give them a second thought. That is, until I'm in the stretching phase of cooling down and the tag is rubbing my lower back. Very annoying and so easy to fix by imprinting the information like most clothing manufacturers. I'll probably cut the tag out soon so I can fully enjoy the pants. One note: I would suggest a friend to buy pants without a tag first and purchase this product as a last resort. I try to use my purchases as a sort of vote to influence the changes that are necessary for retailers and manufacturers to understand when design is not right.

Very flattering fit

4

I use these for both running and casual wear. I love the fit, warmth and comfort of them. I've had trouble with a lot of poorly made running/workout clothes that shrink really bad after washing and drying. Nothing bugs me like having a pair of pants shrink 2" in length and then they are too short. Because of that I ordered these in a tall but they didn't shrink at all. They seem to be really well made. While they're great for running on really cold days, I don't know that I'd use them as race day pants. They work better as warm up pants or for slower runs. They're pretty roomy below the knee and tend to flap and catch a lot of wind but a great all around pant.

Had to Hem (I'm Short) But I LOVE them

4

These are nice pants - a bit expensive, and I had to hem them (maybe I should have got the Short size but I couldn't wait - so I hemmed them!) But they look great. They are nice and stretchy so I got the mediums (otherwise I might have needed a large). The fabric feels better than the Target brand ones (just a tiny bit heavier). The only thing is I feel like I have to wear them backwards (the logo goes in the front for me!). I mostly walk in them. They are not hot and they dry fast if they get wet.

I like them a lot

4

These pants are comfortable and good looking. They fit true to size and flatter your bum and thighs. I would have given them 5 stars if they had a gusseted crotch and slightly smaller ankles, since I'm a runner and that would make them better "run" pants and maybe slightly less annoying for leg workouts at the gym. However they are perfect for casual runs and wearing to the gym in general and also for long walks. I know I will get a lot of use from them, and they're cute enough to stop at the store on the way home if I have to.

Comfortable and stylish

4

I bought these pants for getting back into running during 30-40 degree temps. They've been very comfortable and plenty warm enough without getting too hot. The ones I bought are a bit too long but the next size down seemed too short. Definitely recommend trying them on before buying. For me, one con is that during exercise the waistband tends to slip down some. Never enough to feel like they are coming off, but enough to feel awkward. Otherwise, I'm very happy with them.

better than I expected!!

4

I am 116lbs and almost 5"6. I usually take a s or xs . I bought this in a size xs and glad I did since a small would have been to big. XS was not tight and legnth was perfect. I would buy these again in other colors. I bought the brown because they were on sale and thought why not... the brown is a nice change and will be great for casual wear also! THe quality is excellent, so glad I took a chance.

I wear these pants out and buy more

5

I love these pants. As soon as the weather starts to cool, I wear them all the time and everywhere. When they get older, which takes a while, I wear them around the house and buy a new pair for outside. They look good with a sweatshirt, tech running shirt or casual shirt and sweater. It is especially convenient that I am able to buy them in a shorter length. Love them.

Great Pant- but Petites want Colors, too

5

Got these in XS-Short (not an easy thing to find, curiously enough, considering how many women are 5'4" and under). They fit my hourglass figure well, even at the waist, and are more flattering than most other flared or straight-leg workout pants I've tried on. If these came in my size in the dark grey or navy, I'd order both in a heartbeat... but alas, like every other pair of pants I seem to find in a shorter length, black is the only choice.

Feel Good Pants

4

I like the pants but got one size too big I think. They are not adjustable. They sit nice on your waist, low. But do stretch out a bit and so I felt perhaps a smaller size would have bene better. I got the long size as well and it is a bit too long, but not a big deal. May only work for early spring weather as they seem heavy to wear once the weather turns too nice. Glad I bought them though.

On the loose side. Order down.

2

I like running in pants as a change of pace from tights. I'm 5'5" and 127 pounds, so I usually wear a medium in running clothes (although 4-6 in street clothes). These were a little loose to begin with but I thought they'd shrink to fit. They didn't. My waist size was bigger than my hip size, but I should've ordered for the smaller one (hip size). I hope the smalls fit better.

Great workout pants

Love the "short" length option. I'm 5'1" and always have trouble finding workout pants short enough. These work great!

Excellent fit!

5

I love these pants! They are a tad long even though I bought the "short" inseam (in black), but I am only 4'11". That being said, I use them 3-4 times a week on my runs. They even make nice casual pants because they fit well. I have washed them several times and they don't shrink or fade. I want another pair...I think the grey ones are in my future! :-)

Too long

3

I love the material and the cut of these pants, however, the length is a deal-breaker. They are MUCH too long and because of the cut of the leg, shortening them isn't really an option. Unfortunately, they're going back. (I would only recommend them if you're very tall with long legs or don't mind your pant legs dragging on the floor-even with shoes on.)
