These shorts are great for us runners with imperfect thighs. They never ride up, and are long enough to eliminate chaffing. I wear mine nice and loose, and am never self-conscious about any jiggle. My only complaint is the elastic waist band tie - it's bulky and sticks out, which isn't flattering. Otherwise, these are the best shorts I've found! Hope they come out in more colors.

Ok, I have searched high and low for longer running shorts for taller, athletic gals like myself. I am 5 ft 10 in and 165 lbs. and the large fit me perfectly. XL was way too big...bunching around the top after pulling draw string in. My waist is like 32/33 if that helps anyone.
I like the length and the zipper pocket in the back. The zipper pocket could be bigger. It will only hold like a key and maybe two GU gels.
I have been searching for longer running shorts at many stores and these may well be the ones I run in for my first marathon at the end of April.
My only suggestion is that zipper pocket be a bit bigger or add a zipper pocket on side and that they make these shorts in different colors as well as in 8in and 9 in lengths as well. I would buy them all.

Kudos to Victoria at Atlanta store as well. She held sizes so I could try on and see the fit. Very helpful on phone and in store.

Like the fit through the hips and upper thigh. The shorts stay in place and don't creep up when running. The shorts also don't fall around the butt when laying down to do crunches, etc.

Dislike the waist bowtie/stretchy strap thing. Would prefer inside tie, or no tie at all.

I love my RRS running skorts and capris but wanted shorts that were as comfortable. After trying several pairs at shorter lengths (4" and 5") that rode up and were generally uncomfortable for my training runs, I was about to give up on shorts until I discovered these. They are awesome! Very comfortable - the fabric stays in place and I have no issues with chafing, the fabric getting wacky or any other discomfort. They're longer than most running shorts but still hit well above the knee. The fabric is lightweight but sturdy and the cut of the shorts is very flattering. I have already ordered a second pair.

I use these shorts for running and bike commuting in warm weather. I'm mostly a climber and these would be great for that too - long enough to stay put under a harness. Anyway - I am about 5'3'' 112lb with pretty narrow hips and I need a xs. Small is ok but I like shorts that are slightly tighter than most running shorts. I'd love to be able to buy them in an xs. Please stock more colors and all sizes!!!!

These are an OK design. If you have hips like me, and they are 42 inch hips, these will pull across the hips in the large size. I think XL would be too big, but they are not offered anyway--too bad! So, I sent these back, even if I LOVE the zipper pocket and the shirring on the sides. So, these are constructed for narrower hips, IMHO...TOO BAD. RR Sports, you need to offer more longer inseam shorts (7"+) with zipper pockets for gals with hips, please!

Would definitely buy again! VERY comfortable. Easy to run in. Flattering to middle aged, post 4 kids hips! Only con: the drawstring recedes easily when laundering. Probably tying before washing would solve this. Great product! Keep it up!

I have muscular thighs and a big booty and these shorts are just the perfect length and allow for free movement. They are super comfortable, don't ride up, and are flattering.

Good fit and perfect length. One tip- make sure drawstring is tied when washing or you may have to re thread. Bought large and extra large. I am a 14/16, closer to 14. XL is a good fit. Large was a bit small but I kept them too.

These shorts are perfect for those of us who need more coverage. The 7inch length is perfect. The fit is true to size. I like the zip pocket in the back waist band for gel. I like having a draw string, although the waist band on these shorts is snug and wide.I also like that there isn't an attached liner. I prefer to wear underware. I ordered size medium and they fit great. Not too tight not too loose. I am 5'4" and 130lbs. I have worn them on several long runs, love them! I have 2 pair in black and will order the charcoal. A dark navy would be nice.

I love these shorts! They are so comfortable. I typically use them as casual wear and not for working out. They are lightweight, flattering and so comfy.

My wish list items would be POCKETS, and to come in more colors. I bought the charcoal and have just ordered the black, but would love them in blue, khaki or any other number of colors too.

I usually wear long compression shorts because I have long legs, the look is a bit more classy than short shorts, and the extra compression feels good. I tried these long but no compression shorts and they are just as comfortable but also flattering and more versatile, appropriate for après-run or après-hike activities. Really well designed for fit, form, and function.

I like these running shorts so much that I bought a second pair! They are very comfortable and some days I leave them on long after the run. I bought them in a medium when I am typically a small cause in the summer I like my clothes loose.

I run in these all the time. As a larger older runner, coverage is important. They are great. Only exception is the sizing is different (all Large) from pair to pair. That is frustrating.

These shorts are very flattering and comfortable. I am 5'10" tall and weigh about 160 pounds. I bought the L and they fit beautifully. I ended up buying both colors because I was so happy with the style and fit.

I have trouble with shorts riding up when I run and these stay out. They are longer which I love but not super long to look funny. I've gotten many compliments from other women at the gym on these! I love them so much, I have five pairs.
