I am training for a 1/2 marathon and have been looking for compression knickers that help with the muscle fatigue in my legs on my longer training runs, these are nice tights, but they don't have a lot of "compression" to them. They are comfortable and I do not have problems with chaffing while wearing these. They are nice, but if you are looking for more compression, to help combat muscle fatigue, then I would look at purchasing a pair of pants/capri's from the CW-X line of running wear.

These are my first pair of compression pants, so I don't have anything to compare them to, but wow, what a difference the compression makes! I wore these for the first time last weekend for a 5K and I couldn't believe how fresh my legs felt the entire race! I set a PR and had very little soreness the next day, too. A note on the length: I am 5'3"/120# and these (size S) came to about mid-calf on me - more like the photo of the "Capri" length Velocity tights. This is what I wanted, so I am happy about that, just FYI for other short runners like me :) The overall fit was perfect, and they seem to be of high quality. I was neither too hot nor too cold in the ~60 degree sunny and breezy weather. I can't wait to buy more in other colors!

These are just the right length to provide compression for my aging knees while not being too warm like many capris. The vent panels allow me to wear them on quite warm days without being uncomfortable. They do not provide the super compression of brands like CW-X, but I wasn't expecting that, and they are not as cool as shorts, but I wasn't expecting that either.

I workout 5-6 days a week and have enjoyed these pants a lot. I run, lift weights, do cross-fit and they are good for all.
Fit true to size. I am a size 4-6 in pants and I ordered a small.

I purchased the knickers for my first marathon. Not knowing what to expect for weather, I knew I wasn't ready to break out my compression shorts or wear pants in spring. These capris were an excellent fit and made it though the entire marathon! No chaff, rubbing, or marks of any kind. The only dilemma I had was they were a little warm, as the temperature broke 70. I am short (5'0"). I always have difficulty finding a good fit for length. I would purchase these again!

Compression gear lets me skip my knee brace while running. The capris from my usual co don't provide as much support as their cold weather tights, so I sought a new brand. These are great: 75 degrees, 8 mile run, didn't think about them or my knee even once. And the just below the knee length and mesh patches make them as cool an option as possible.

I'm 5'5" 116# pear shape, sz 2 or 4 pants. The XS fit perfectly.

I used these Capri leggings three times so far on runs 6-8 miles. The material is very comfortable and breathable. I would suggest buying a size smaller if you want the true feel of compression. I can't give an honest opinion on muscle recovery but it didn't seem to help or hurt.

I have no complaints about these compression capris. I bought 2 pairs and I really like them. They do not fall down while you are running and have a tie in the waist to prevent that from happening. They have mesh material on the sides of the pant to help with air flow. I am short, 5'3" and the length was perfect.

These are my first pair of compression pants and I love them for my long runs. I did feel my muscles were more supported. They are comfortable and flattering! I will be buying another pair for sure!

I tried CWX compression tights first, and they are not made for runners with short legs. I"m 5'1, i25lbs. (could not get the knee area lined up). The RRS compression knicker is much more comfortable, but does not have as much of the compression. I wear them to the gym, running, and to buzz around on my eliptigo. I will buy another pair, the mesh at the knee is great. I bought size small. I considered an XS,but think the waist might be too small.

I've run in these now three times for longer distance runs, and all three times, no matter how I try and adjust them, I get chaffing at the waistband area, on my sides and on my back. Never had any issues with RoadRunner gear before, so I'll probably return this one and chalk it up to an anomaly!

Sorry but I have to send this comment: I do have this capri, it is fine for when I teach away from my studio in the summer...thank you for the wonderful colors...my NEED is that you make it in a full length tight. I teach hot yoga and presently your other tights have zippers (not good in certain poses) My oldest and best tights ever (and I have tried alot)are RRS, over 13 years of use, as I have taught many classes in them.
Please, I would even like to sell them at my studio, they are so well made, indestructable. And in these colors, I was getting so bored with blk.

I bought these knickers primarily so that I wouldn't look like a doofus in running shorts at my gym's yoga class. They look awesome, are super comfy, and move right along with you during each pose. I've also worn them running, and they are work out great for that too. I'm definitely wearing them for my half-marathon next month! I'm buying another pair in the purple color right now!!

I ordered the full-length tights first and really liked them. I ordered these and like them a lot as well. I have other tights that definitely have more "compression" but overall I have no complaints about these. They are well made, comfortable and flattering. I am 5'3, 115 lbs and the XS fits well.

These are nice light tights for spring. I was expecting them to be more compressive so I ordered a large (I'm 5'2", 145lbs) and I could have managed with a medium. They aren't going to fall down, but I would have liked them to be snugger. They are comfortable though and breathe well.
