Comments about R-Gear Womens Road Runner Sports In Your Element Rain Cold weather Pants: WALK/JOG ON THE LAKE IN THE WINTER. GREAT PANTS.

Best Uses Comments about R-Gear Womens Road Runner Sports In Your Element Rain Cold weather Pants: Years ago my husband and I (runners) had purchased Road Runners own Windstopper running suits. We absolutely love them. They are perfect for temperatures from about 38 - 50. After so many years of use, the inside mesh of my pants have shredded and I'm trying to replace just the pants. These Element pants are so skimpy in the crotch area that I couldn't possibly run comfortably (or decently) in them.

Comments about R-Gear Womens Road Runner Sports In Your Element Rain Cold weather Pants: I initially bought these as "running in the rain" pants, but did find them to get too sticky and not breathe on runs. Instead, I've been using them successfully for a top layer over compression tights while XC skiing. They work great. With just one other layer underneath, I've worn these in below zero wind chill and felt fine on the trails. I don't really worry about a rain pant anymore while running. The small fit fine when I was (5'3") 106-108 lbs. After suffering a bad stress fracture and six months off running, I've gained some weight (7-10 lbs?), so I'm ordering a medium for a little more wiggle room.

Best Uses Comments about R-Gear Womens Road Runner Sports In Your Element Rain Cold weather Pants: I am usually a RR medium -- the waist and length on these were very good and not a poor fit. However I cannot even walk full stride in these pants, because they are so narrow at the knee -- maybe I have bigger knobbier knees than the norm -- I do have muscular calves and maybe that is also "using up" some of the play in the fit . cannot run in these. Quality seemed very good, but I am sending them back.

Comments about R-Gear Womens Road Runner Sports In Your Element Rain Cold weather Pants: Pants are functional for colder, rainy runs. Due to the lack of ventilation, the interior mesh will stick to your legs after a few miles. When I tried to stretch my hamstrings after several miles, it was hard to stretch because the outer shell didn't want to move because of the mesh was stuck to my legs. I'm going to wear a pair of capris under them next time to eliminate this problem. All in all, they meet my expectations and eliminate any excuses for not running in the rain.
