The first time I wore it, it was a pretty mild rain and I used the little bungees to keep the rain out which worked better than expected. Feeling confident, I tried it during a heavier rain and it worked just as well. The mesh on the inside was perfect for keeping the jacket from sticking to me, I'm officially a fan. Pros

Comments about Womens R-Gear In Your Element Rain Outerwear Jackets: I bought this as a rain jacket for golf, but decided to bring it with me on a recent trip to Europe, thinking that it could rain. I ended up wearing it every day, rain or shine. It is comfortable and looks great! It dries very quickly. I am very happy with my purchase.

Comments about Womens R-Gear In Your Element Rain Outerwear Jackets: This is the most wind and waterproof jacket I have ever owned. You will definitely be dry in the wet weather, but as others have mentioned, it could be more breathable. Definitely not for temperatures above 40 degrees F. Great for 30 degrees with rain and snow. I have no doubt it will keep me toasty on those cold, wet New England winter days. The good news is that you can wear a really light under layer. I like the large hood that I can pull over my hat and it keeps the rain out of my eyes! Thank You!

Comments about Womens R-Gear In Your Element Rain Outerwear Jackets: It is obviously a well made jacket. It is great for San Diego weather, where even when it rains it is not too cold. It has a nice feminine shape. It has reflectivity all around. This jacket is not loose fitting. I am 5'4, 140 lb. 26 inch waist, 36B and a medium jacket fits me very snugly. I can only where sports bra and thin running shirt underneath. But that is how I like this jacket to fit. It is not constricting in any way. It is a light weight breathable jacket that I would recommend.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Womens R-Gear In Your Element Rain Outerwear Jackets: To start, I love this jacket. I live in the metro-Atlanta area and we have had some chilly mornings (45). I stayed warm even in the wind. It dried rather quickly. I like the thumb holds in the sleeve. It's not cold enough for gloves, but my hands appreciated the covering on the cold morning walks.

Comments about Womens R-Gear In Your Element Rain Outerwear Jackets: This jacket is surprisingly comfortable and versatile. I was in Arizona during a rainstorm and ducked into the Roadrunner Sports store. I needed to run but I came ill prepared for wet weather. I didn't want to buy a jacket because I had plenty at home. But I bit the bullet and discovered a whole new favorite running jacket. I love the fabric and the fit. It's breathable, it fits very well, and it keeps me dry. I showed it to a friend and she was so impressed that I bought her one for the holidays. A surprisingly great jacket!

Comments about Womens R-Gear In Your Element Rain Outerwear Jackets: I've wore the jacket on a couple of very wet runs so far and it's been great. My problem is I over dress with long sleeves and it's not really necessary for wet weather. Haven't used it in extreme cold just wet (45-55 degrees)

Comments about Womens R-Gear In Your Element Rain Outerwear Jackets: Love everything about this jacket! The first time I wore it I thought the hood was going to hang down into my face, but then found the adjustable cord on the back and now it fits perfectly. Many cool features make this my go to jacket.

Comments about Womens R-Gear In Your Element Rain Outerwear Jackets: The jacket is great. The cuff insert with thumb holes is to warm for summer rain wear. I wish it was removable since I cut it out and will not have it when the weather gets colder.

Comments about Womens R-Gear In Your Element Rain Outerwear Jackets: Ventilation was not sufficient and jacket became too hot to wear during a 35 degree challenging run that included some snowy patches. I soaked with sweat so when I took it off I became very cold. Good rain jacket but not for cold weather.

Comments about Womens R-Gear In Your Element Rain Outerwear Jackets: Seems a bit small for layering, but great for rainy days in Oregon. The flashing/steady light is nice for safety.

Comments about Womens R-Gear In Your Element Rain Outerwear Jackets: This is a great jacket whether it's raining or not. It really is a good rain AND wind jacket, since it's been raining a lot here. I've used it so far on a few pretty cold days and it serves its purpose. The only con is you can't use it on a warmer (40-50 degree) day because it doesn't have the greatest ventilation. I'll just have to wait until it gets colder to wear it more often.
