Sometime I just want the plain jacket to throw on over everything and this does the job without being too boring. The texture on it is fun but not too crazy.

I wore it to San Francisco on a cold day and was completely warm. I will use it for my 1/2 Marathon this sunday in San Francisco. No need for any other jacket.

Jacket was comfortable, mostly. I liked the fit, the long sleeves with thumb holes and the zipper pockets. Love the color. The only issue I had was the corner of the collar kept hitting me in the face as I walked. I tried folding the entire collar down including in the back but the left corner wouldn't stay down. I finally had to tuck the whole collar under. Had this problem during a 9 mile walk and a 6 mile walk. OK for casual wear but too annoying for serious walking/running. (Am training for a 1/2 marathon)

LOOK:
Love the textured fabric on the jacket...subtle, but adds style. It's perfect for cool 45-60 degree weather, casual wear or pre/post-workout. The only thing I worry about is possible pilling; a couple of the jackets in-store had some light pilling, though I was easily able to brush off the balls that formed over the textured area...only time and wear will tell if this will be a real issue.

FIT:
I originally ordered a medium (my usual RRS size), but it was a bit more fitted than I was looking for, especially across the shoulders...I was hoping for something slightly more comfort-fit that I might be able to wear a long-sleeve tee under...so I easily returned it in-store and ordered the large which fit very well in every area including the length of the sleeves and across the chest and shoulders.

I'm 5'9", 140 lbs, 28" waist, athletic build.

I live in houston and this jacket is perfect, even during the hot, humid summer! I use it over my work out clothes and in daily life. I love that it is light , yet warm and very streamlined. Very flattering.
