Comments about Womens R-Gear Taken By Storm Rain Outerwear Jackets: I was not expecting very much from this jacket. Although when I received it I was taken back by how stylish it is. The thumb holes are functional yet very cool looking. I received many compliments on this jacket! The rain rolled right off this jacket!

Comments about Womens R-Gear Taken By Storm Rain Outerwear Jackets: Love this jacket, I know a lot of people said is isn't breathable but for anyone that gets cold easily it keeps the heat in while you run...which I love especially if it's raining out. Living in Seattle it rains a lot so it's a great jacket to take out into the elements!

Comments about Womens R-Gear Taken By Storm Rain Outerwear Jackets: This is my first time doing some winter running in the NW suburbs of Chicago, so I needed a serious top layer to handle wind & snow. Great outer layer, although since I am planning on using it with multiple layers and I'm a DD, I probably could've gone one size up. With two thin layers, the medium is a bit more form-fitting than I usually like but it's not uncomfortable for long, cold runs.
Comments about Womens R-Gear Taken By Storm Rain Outerwear Jackets: I bought this for my daughter but will be returning it. While it is cute I feel that the shoulders would not be roomy enough. I bought a medium -- I usually wear a small and the shoulders seem just right to me so I'm afraid they would be too tight for a medium person.

Comments about Womens R-Gear Taken By Storm Rain Outerwear Jackets: I wore this for a 10mile race in 20° weather with sleet and snow. Great jacket. Very water proof. It isn't insulated for cold weather, but it also isn't breathable - so I stayed warm from all the trapped heat. It'd be awesome if there were underarm zippers to allow more ventilation for warmer, rainy days. But, I think dressing one layer less would make up for it. I like that I can wear this as a casual jacket for outings other than running. Fits great and the thumbholes are a plus! Happy with the price and purchase of this.

Comments about Womens R-Gear Taken By Storm Rain Outerwear Jackets: I'm 5'2'', slight build and have the medium. It is roomy, but not too much. I wear this through Chicago winters with a good shirt underneath and don't need anything else. Great purchase, well worth the money!

Comments about Womens R-Gear Taken By Storm Rain Outerwear Jackets: Running: I tend to overheat when I run so this review may not be helpful to most (e.g. temps in the 20s means one layer of cold gear, gloves and beanie). I've only worn this twice for running and both times it was uncomfortably hot and I was an even-sweatier-than-usual mess at the end. Also, I had spare socks in the pocket that got wet from sweat because the inside of the pocket is just mesh. Underarm zips would've been a great addition to this jacket!

Comments about Womens R-Gear Taken By Storm Rain Outerwear Jackets: I bought this jacket because it rains so much in Oregon and I did not own a running jacket that was waterproof. It seemed a little expensive but with my Runner Chicks discount and my VIP discount it was affordable. I only wish that it had ventilation under the armpits and at least along the sides that you could zip open or closed. It gets really warm inside the jacket.

Comments about Womens R-Gear Taken By Storm Rain Outerwear Jackets: I wore this jacket during a training run that turned into wet, cold and windy. Not only is this jacket nicely styled but it functions well and the storm cuffs are a nice added feature for keeping hands warm.

Comments about Womens R-Gear Taken By Storm Rain Outerwear Jackets: I bought this to run in but it actually seems to be more suited to casual wear. It is very pretty and well made with cute details. The only thing I wish it had were underarm zippers to avoid overheating while running/hiking/biking.

Comments about Womens R-Gear Taken By Storm Rain Outerwear Jackets: I bought this jacket while visiting family in Seattle and was able to use it the entire time during the month of November when running around the city and as a casual jacket. I used it again, almost daily, when hiking on Kauai in December! Since returning to Texas, I've actually gotten to use the jacket a few times for longer, wet runs. Each use has kept me dry and warm. It fits well and is totally cute. I do wish it had some vents for slightly more ventilation when the hike or run nears the end. All in all, I would buy it again.

Comments about Womens R-Gear Taken By Storm Rain Outerwear Jackets: My first running jacket and I like it. The storm cuffs are long enough that I can fit my watch over them, but a bit under the jacket cuff. Hood is roomy. Mesh lining helps keep sweat away from your skin. Too warm to wear this since it doesn't breath (waterproof!) unless it is <30, for me. Wish it had some vents. Like the color, the purple is a bit heathered. 5'2'' and got a small.

Comments about Womens R-Gear Taken By Storm Rain Outerwear Jackets: Haven't used it yet. Weather not bad enough. However, fit and jacket details says it's right for me. Customer service great!
