These tights are great! I live in the Chicago burbs and wear these running outside in the winter and they are great! Thin enough to wear under other pants when it's really cold and warm enought to wear by themselves once it hits about 30. I'm 5'3" and about 130, ordered the small and they fit great, just a little long (but not enough for me to return them).

There is good and bad with these tights - the good was the weight of the fabric and the length (I have a hard time getting tights long enough)the bad is these are hip huggers - no where in the decribption does it say that they hit below the waist - unfortunatly this means my serch goes on - had to return the tights

I had to comment on these tights since they are such a great bargain! I love running in them! I am 5' 7.5"inches, 138 lbs and the length is just perfect for my long legs. The length comes right to the ankle which i love! I ordered the woman's medium and the fit is soft and comfortable. I have worn them in temps 35-40 degrees and light rain/snow and have stayed warm. I have worn more expensive running tights and hands down these are my favorites!

I am 5ft 2in and a size 6/7. The medium short is still a tad bit too long, but still is my favorite tight for night or early morning runs.

I was surprised at the features of these tights for the price, which I couldn't see from the picture alone. I am 5'1", 120 - 125 pounds; ordered the PS and they fit perfectly! Purchased some Skechers Resistor running shoes and now I'm all set for some additional New Year jogging....Happy New Year!

at 5"10, I have a hard time finding workout clothing that is long enough. I got these in ST and they are perfect. The inseam goes right to my ankle socks so I don't get a cold spot. I hope RR decides to make their tops/jackets and thermal tights in tall sizes, too!

These are very nice tights - and they aren't too long! I have read a lot of reviews about the zipper rubbing but that hasn't been a problem for me. I am 5'2", 125lbs, long torso, and the small fits well. I wish they were just a tad heavier weight - more like compression tights... just because I feel those might hold you in better (esp in the butt area!) but still nice. I recommend them. but not for cold weather - just cool.

I am 5'10" and all legs (36" inseam). I could never find a pair of running tights that were long enough and fit in the crotch area, until I bought the RRS Velocity Tight. They fit perfect so perfect that when my daughter came to visit she tried them on and was so pleased we got on line and ordered her a pair too. The price and quality was excellent, other brands don't come close to comparing. I also bought the RRS capri and shorts and again very pleased. I hope they never stop making them. Other brands must not think women have long legs. Thank you RRS!!!

These tights are a good length but the position of the zips behind the achilles rubs and on longer runs takes the skin off making it uncomfortable to stride out. They are good for runs less than 5km when the rubbing is limited so not too much skin is removed.

I was ecstatic to find running tights in petites, but they are (no surprise) too long for my 5? frame. The fit is otherwise great, except the ankles which are too tight, and with a back zipper, my poor Achilles is rubbed raw after a mile or so. Move the zipper to the outside, add more reflectivity, and I?m sold ? but as is, I?m sorely disappointed.

These are the best tights that I have ever owned. No special care required--wash & low heat dry. Perfect! I am 5'9" and wear a size 10. I have a 34.5 inch inseam and a short torso so I never thought that any tight would be athletically functional and have a great fit. I am sooooo happy that I was wrong! I love them and just ordered two more MT's.
There's no rubbing, chaffing or irritation at all (I have extremely sensitive skin too). They are warm in cold conditions (30 degrees) and breathe well and are comfortable on warm days. I wish that all RRS gear (including tops) were available in tall sizes for tall women but these are a great start. Thanks RRS for making these tights!

I wear these for daily walking and around the house. They're not the type of pants I'd wear to run errands, but some people would find them fine for that too. Great fit, comfortable, great style, and they're long enough for very long longs (I ordered the Tall size).

They are great tights, and thick enough for Chicago's coldness. I wear size 27,28 jeans. Here I had size M. I am 5 5 almost 5 6, the tights a bit too long for me. Size MP probably is better choice for me.

Being "compression" tights, I thought they would have a bit tighter fit, but they are still very good running tights.

I took my measurements and compared to sizing chart and still they are too long, by at least two inches.

That being said, I like them enough to not return them and have been wearing them regularly.

I bought these last fall for running and they are awesome. I need compression due to a medical condition and I don't like the compression yoga pants I have so I decided to wear these to class last week and they are the perfect yoga pants for me. I am 5'9 1/2" with a 34 inch inseam and these pants offer plenty of stretch so I can pull the ankle all the way to the middle of my foot. I love that I can wash them at night, hang them to dry and they are ready to wear in the morning. My teenaged daughter says they are really cute and wants a pair for herself (and my husband says they really flatter my rear-end if you care about that sort of stuff). I weigh 125 and the size small tall fit me perfectly. Added bonus - you can't beat the price!

After wearing the same pair of RRS running tights for the past decade (or more!), I decided it was time to pony up the bucks for a new pair. Although I'm only 5'8" I ordered a Medium Tall to ensure adequate length. Not necessary - way too long! I can live with the extra inches bunched up at my ankles but then there is this -- that mesh panel behind the knees. I can feel the darn seam. I don't want to feel seams. On my second run wearing them, it was less noticeable so I'm thinking I can live with them. I may use the length issue, though, as an excuse to visit the brick&mortar store for the first time since I'll be in their neighborhood next week.

I bought these tights because 'compression' was in their name, but when I got them, I was disappointed. Not enough spandex for me so I returned them. If you want a better pair of tights, go for a new style--RRL2195. They have almost 10% more spandex and I like the fit and feel much better. Both tights are good quality--it depends on how stretchy and how snug you want them. They are definitely for cool temps. Road Runner always makes a quality product. I do wish they would design tall styles to include more length in the rise. For us tall women, it's not only our legs that make us so.

Truly petite ladies, watch out! I was excited to find these tights in petite length especially with zippers, but alas they were still too long for my 5'1 frame (I have short legs). This dealbreaker aside, I loved everything else about the legging and wish they could have worked out for me. Extremely comfortable, nice weight and details.

I have two of these. I love the fact that these come in petites. That's a godsend for this 5'2" girl.
I have worn these in a 30 degree (21 degree feels like temp) days with double layered top and I was fine. After running 2 miles, when I stopped at intersections, I felt a little cool in my lower body, but nothing uncomfortable. I probably won't wear this alone in weather where it's under 25 degrees, but with an additional set of tights on top, could go down a bit.
I like the zipper and the fit. Nothing to complain there. One note, the string has a tendency to go into the waist band. You might want to knot the two ends together before putting them on for the first time.

These are the best pants I've ever owned. I'm a runner, a skier, and a traveller, and they work in literally every condition. I wear them every time I run, and they're perfect for San Francisco on chilly mornings and also hot afternoons. I wear them under my ski gear for extra warmth in Tahoe, and also when I travel I wear them on the plane. I have a few pairs :) I'm 5 ft 9 inches and the extra length is absolutely perfect. It's so nice to have pants that are long enough. No hesitation - you should buy these.

I can't say enough out these tights! I am a 6'3" female and the XLT fit me to a glove. I have received so many compliments on these and really appreciate a company that makes tights for taller women. I've looked everywhere for a petite tight that works for my short legs, and this is it! I'm 5'3", 130 lbs, with a long waist, and short legs (28" inseam for jeans). Most running tights are too long, even in petite sizes. I bought these in both small and medium. Both fit me, but I'm more comfortable in the small. One problem was that the tie at the waist was too short, and I lost it the first time I put the pants on. I pulled it out and rethreaded it, but sewed a bead at each end of the tie. Kind of a pain, but worth it for these great pants. Love the ankle zipper. I run daily in California, so I don't know if these pants would be warm enough for an eastern winter, but they are warm enough for me on my coldest Bay Area days.
