This is my first gore-tex set but I already love it. I didn't expect it to be so light weight and comfortable. I got the light blue color but I will order a black as well.

This is my third or fourth Gore-tex running suit from RoadRunner. I update them every few years, as they are always the best out there. Unfortunately, this updated jacket and pant do not meet previous standards of quality, and also unfortunately, I gave away my old jacket and pant before really wearing this new jacket and pant. The jacket zipper always gets stuck up at the neck, and I cannot down it when running. The pants are low-riding, which may be fashionable but not functional when running. I usually wear them over compression shorts or tights and they do not stay put; they ride up and cut. Please go back to the longer pant length (meduim long/tall we used to be able to buy)with a regular waist, and please line the jacket again with mesh so it does not stick to your skin. My recommendation...go back to previous years' styling, just keep the all black color.

This is my first gore-tex suit. I'm back to running after 5 children, but don't like the wind and cold and wet. No matter now. I'm warm and dry in this. I like the "runner's" features on the jacket. The hood stays put when I want it to. The cold zipper is covered in front of my face. Pockets, closures, etc. all function easily. I followed the sizing guide and it fits to a T. Hoping they still make um like they used to and I'll get 10 years out of it!

What a jacket!!! I purchased the original storm jacket 5 or 6 years ago. As an AVID outdoors woman, I have worn this jacket year-round not only for running but for alpine and nordic skiing, winter climbing, back-packing, and sailing. It is also my everyday around town coat as well! Fully waterproof, I have washed and dried it hundreds of times. Even the perspiration odors are eliminated with washing! If it weren't for the newly acquired missing tooth on the zipper, I would not need to purchase a new one. The old coat is still usable but I prefer to not be hassled with the zipper when in a hurry. I have faith the new style storm jacket will live up to the rugged standards of its older styled "sister" jacket! Another bonus...it happened to be on sale the one day I checked out RRS for a new jacket. Now if that is not a "meant-to-be"!!!
