These are perfect for pretty much any physical activity. I use them for biking, running, and rock climbing. I usually don't even notice I'm wearing them and they do a great job of protecting against chafing and irritation.

I go running after work and they're comfortable enough to wear under my office clothes throughout the whole day, more than regular compression shorts. Remember these are underwear and are really thin, so don't expect the same level of support of some compression shorts. They do provide enough support and coverage for short runs and hikes.

I've been using these shorts under my running shorts for as many years as RRS has been selling them (I had a similar pair of Brooks before that and I think RRS continued manufacturing them). I wear them under my shorts (I like 8-9 inch inseam shorts, personally). Best use is for running, but good for hiking, too. When wearing under shorts, it's best to pick a pair of outer shorts that have no liner, or cut out the liner as you won't need it. I also prefer nylon outer shorts as polyester for me will wear out within 6 months.

Before I found these boxers I always ran commando in soccer shorts - never liked the running shorts with a built-in brief. I got these boxers to wear under my tights for extra warmth and wind protection in the winter months and really liked them. When spring came I continued wearing them under my soccer shorts and still like them, like them even more than going without underwear.

I have recently discovered another use for them - motorcycling. Regular cotton boxers bunch-up terribly under your jeans in uncomfortable wrinkles on an extended ride but these stay just where they should and wick away moisture caused by engine heat. Another market for RR sports, the motorcycle community?

I was having problems finding the right thing to wear under running tights and really didn't dig wearing shorts over them - kind of overkill. These are perfect, really feel good and so far no chafing even after 12 mile runs. I like just thinking about wearing them which is a little strange.

Training for a marathon and they have done a good job of preventing chafing and keeping my legs dryer. However if you are looking for a compression short - they are a little thin and not as good as the Under Armour version. But for the price - it is still a very good buy. I use them for my shorter runs.

I purchased these accidentally. But once I tried them on, I was hooked. I bought 12 pair. I cleaned out my old FTL's and won't ever look back. Worth every penny!!!!
